摘要: An improved ceramic discharge vertical lamp tower is designed for growing plants. A plurality of daisy chained ballast boxes are mounted between a pair of vertical frame members. Each ballast box powers a ceramic discharge lamp or any chosen alternative. Each ballast box may also power auxiliary LED lights. A controller can vary the cycle times of each augmented LED light panel and/or the ceramic discharge lamp. Various cooling heatsink designs include air and water.

摘要: A method and apparatus for a horticultural light for use in a horticultural facility that uses current sharing across any one or more LED strings within the horticultural light. A processor may determine the current requirements of the one or more LED strings that are needed to produce a given intensity level. The processor may then apportion the current generation capability of a DC-DC converter across all active LED strings using time division multiple access whereby each LED string may conduct its apportioned current within its allocated time slot to the mutual exclusion of the remaining active LED strings in any given time period. The processor may employ analog (continuous) and/or digital (discontinuous) dimming techniques within each time slot to further modulate the amount of current conducted by any LED string within its allocated time slot.

摘要: A LED tube luminaire for growing plants in greenhouse and indoor horticulture comprising individual LEDs on a substrate with higher linear density, no focusing optics on LED, a glass tube, the end cups, electronics, and electrical contactors. The LED tube luminaire has high light intensity, random direction white light with different color temperature for grow and bloom. An LED grow light has a substrate mounted within a glass tube. A linear array of LED chips is mounted on the substrate and aligned in a single line and comprising a plurality of LED chips. The plurality of LED chips has a regular spacing of less than 15 mm on center. The linear array of LED chips has a single color temperature having greater than 80 color rendering index. A pair of terminals mounted on ends of the glass tube. The pair of terminals are not symmetrical.

摘要: The present invention relates to technology to implement a technique of managing light intensity by each wavelength band for a light apparatus at a low price, whereby the light intensity is suitable for plant growth. In the present invention, cheaper LED blue-chips are incorporated instead of more expensive LED red-chips which are conventionally incorporated in plant factories, which let the production cost of lighting apparatus for plant factories reduced. By applying red-series, green-series and yellow-series phosphors onto the LED blue-chips, light intensity by wavelength band of lighting apparatuses may meet target conditions which are favorable to plant growth. Further, work environment may be improved by reducing eyestrain due to red light-source, and growth efficiency of plants may be enhanced by improving wavelength characteristics of lighting apparatuses.

摘要: A lighting device and assembly which incorporating an independently powered array of at least two types of LED lights that each give off specific wavelengths of light for growing plants. The assembly includes at least two of the lighting devices in conjunction with at least one high intensity bulb commonly used for indoor horticulture, where the assembly is adjustable for dimensional changes in the subject plants as they grow. A timing method for applying specific durations of each type of light which effectively simulate sunrise, daylight and sunset by allowing the plant to awaken naturally, absorb more light during the day and prepare for sleep at night, giving the plant more rest—all leading to more healthy plant growth.
