摘要: This coupling device for a tubular member is provided with: a base stand for holding an inner member and an outer member in a state in which the outer member is disposed around the inner member; a plurality of pressing members that are supported by the base stand in a movable manner in the radial direction of the inner member and the outer member and have a protruding part on the tip thereof; a pressing member that make contact with the final end of the pressing member and that can press the pressing member radially inward; and a drive mechanism that drives any one among the base stand and the pressing member in a direction perpendicular to the movement direction of the pressing member so that the one member moves relative to the other. The inner member and the outer member are caulked and coupled by driving, by the drive mechanism, any one among the base stand and the pressing member and displacing the pressing member radially inward to thereby expand, radially inward, a portion of a peripheral wall of the outer member by the protruding part.

摘要: Described is a heating device for thermally connecting a pipe, which has a first plastic material, to a bushing, which has a second plastic material, and which surrounds at least a section of the pipe, wherein an inductively heatable heating means is located between the pipe and the bushing and/or integrated in the pipe and/or the bushing. The heating device has a coil arrangement, which is excitable by a generator, and which has a first coil, which has at least one complete winding within a first cross-sectional area, and a second coil, which is electrically coupled to the first coil, and which has at least one complete winding within a second cross-sectional area. The first cross-sectional area is different from the second cross-sectional area. Furthermore, a heating system having such a heating device as well as a method for thermally connecting a pipe to a bushing are described.

摘要: A dissimilar metal connection arrangement comprising a dissimilar metal connection between a first member made of a first metal and having a first end, and a second member made of a second metal different from said first metal with regard to its metallurgical behavior, and having a second end, wherein the first end of the first member is fixedly connected to the second end of the second member. An increased lifetime of the connection is achieved by arranging a heating means at said dissimilar metal connection for controlled heating of said dissimilar metal connection.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to the construction of a sealed connection between an elastomeric or synthetic polymer flexible pipe or hose and a metallic coupling member. The coupling member surrounds an armor layer at a free end of the flexible pipe or hose. A sealing area is defined by a recessed portion of the pipe coupling into which a sealing material is introduced. An inner layer of the flexible pipe or hose may extend into the sealing area where it is bonded to the sealing material. The sealing material and the inner liner layer may each be comprised of a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material. Furthermore, a reinforcement material is provided in the inner layer.

摘要: One of a first metallic pipe containing a first metal as a main component and a second metallic pipe containing a second metal as a main component includes an expanded-diameter connecting part which is formed at an end part of the one metallic pipe. An inner diameter of the end part is greater than an inner diameter of an adjacent part that is adjacent to the end part. An intermetallic compound layer of the first and second metal is present at an interface of the first and second metal located between a brazing filler metal and the one or the other of the metallic pipes. A thickness of the intermetallic compound layer is configured such that the thickness of an end portion on the side of a base end is smaller than the thickness of an end portion on the side of an open end.
