A mating assembly interacts with the plurality of cutting blades to accomplish a multipoint cutting procedure which is facilitated by the concurrent rotation of the cutting roller and cutting blades as well as a linear reciprocal travel thereof transverse to the path of travel. A stabilizing assembly is provided to restrict the dimensional variance of the spacing between the cutting roller and mate roller through which the meat product travels and an ejecting assembly to remove cut portions from between the cutting blades and back onto the path of travel. The cutting assembly preferably includes a modular construction disposal within and removal from an operative position along a processing line associated with the path of travel.

The device has at least one cutting unit that has a cutting tool for cutting off a wire that is arranged around a bale, and at least one winding unit that has a winding tool for unwinding the cut wire from the bale. The cutting tool has an outer cutter and an inner cutter which are coaxially arranged and rotatable with respect to each other. Each cutter has a cutting edge which are arranged to be moved towards each other when the cutters are rotated towards each other in a certain direction, in order to cut off objects, preferably bale wires, between them.

The apparatus comprises: a support structure comprising a support member rotatable about a first axis, and a workpiece gripping structure mounted to the support structure comprising at least one workpiece gripping member having a workpiece-receiving surface. The gripping member is rotatable about a second axis substantially parallel to the first axis such that the gripping member is capable of being rotated about the second axis during transfer of a workpiece from the moving anvil to the workpiece-receiving surface. The workpiece gripping member is also rotatable about a third axis substantially transverse to the first and second axes so as to be capable of rotating the workpiece from a first angular position at the anvil to a second angular position.

    摘要： In an apparatus for helically slitting a continuous tubular film of synthetic thermoplastic material, a pair of feed rollers for feeding flattened continuous tubular film to a mandrel are mounted at fixed locations in a main frame. A rotary support mounted in the main frame carries the mandrel which consists of spaced apart low-friction bars disposed in a circular array concentric to the axis of rotation of the rotary support. A cutter is adapted to slit the tubular film as it traverses the mandrel. The axis of rotation of the support is aligned with the nip between the feed rollers approximately at the center of their length. A reversing rod and a deflecting or guide roller are connected to the rotary support for guiding the slit film from the mandrel to a winder. The winder has a winding axis aligned with or intersecting the axis of rotation of the rotary support at a right angle. A spreader for opening out the film is disposed between the feed rollers and the mandrel. The apparatus may be disposed vertically or horizontally.

    摘要： A machine for punching holes in batches of sheets has a receptor which holds a stack of sheets in vertical position. A timing mechanism sequentially jogs and segregates a first batch from the receptor and deposits same in a vertical punch slot. At the bottom of the punch slot is a horizontally reciprocating punch which forms the holes. Meanwhile, a second batch is bieng jogged and segregated. The first and second batches are gripped and lifted. The first batch is deposited in a vertical discharge slot from which it is transferred to a deposit tray. The second batch is simultaneously punched while in the punch slot.
