    摘要: Methods of making thin abrasive cut-off wheels with low pinhole occurrence are disclosed. An abrasive cut-off wheel has a thickness of less than or equal to 1.6 millimeters. It comprises at least one reinforcing scrim and abrasive particles retained in a phenolic binder. The abrasive particles comprise first and second triangular abrasive platelets. The first triangular platelets have a first average maximum side length and a first total weight. The second triangular platelets have a second average maximum side length and a second total weight. The first and second total weights combined comprise at least 30 weight percent of the abrasive cut-off wheel. The ratio of the first average maximum side length to the second average maximum side length is 1.25:1 to 5:1, and the ratio of first total weight to the second total weight is 1:2 to 5:1.

    摘要: An abrasive tool includes a tool base having a supporting surface and a generally cylindrical abrasive surface layer disposed on the supporting surface. The abrasive surface removes material from a work-piece outer surface by contact therewith and by relative movement along a defined working path. The abrasive tool comprises a first axially extending circumferential portion featuring an abrasive coating selected to produce a final finish on the work piece, and a second trailing portion that tapers radially inwardly to accommodate post-grind radial expansion of the work piece.

    摘要: A device for reforming a vessel cavity is provided that includes a central shaft, a central gear coupled to the central shaft, and a plurality of roller gears coupled to the central gear, with each of the plurality of roller gears having a central portion. A proximal support member couples the plurality of roller gears and at least one of the central gear and the central shaft. A plurality of rollers is also provided, each of the plurality of rollers connected to the central portion of each of the plurality of roller gears. In one form, at least one idler member is disposed between the plurality of rollers. A distal support member couples the plurality of rollers and at least one of the central gear and a translation member. Also, a stationary member is secured to a distal portion of the vessel cavity.
