摘要: A method for directly preparing a foamed polylactic acid (PLA) product from a PLA melt includes PLA melt preparation, feeding, and two-stage extrusion. In the two-stage extrusion, a pressure at an outlet of a first-stage twin-screw extruder is 15 MPa to 17 MPa, a PLA melt is fed at a rate of 250 kg/h, a foaming additive is fed at a rate of 7.5 kg/h to 10 kg/h, and a foaming gas is fed at a rate of 2.8 L/h to 7.5 L/h. The method can ensure both foamability and quality of a material and reduce more than ⅓ of energy consumption; and an obtained product has an adjustable foaming rate of 3 to 25, a crystallinity of 40.3% to 48.5%, a tensile strength of 8.7 MPa to 19.6 MPa, and an apparent density of 0.05 g/cm3 to 0.4 g/cm3.

摘要: A process for the production of a particle composition containing, at least one resin and at least one pigment is described, said process comprising the following steps: *extrusion of a mixture containing said at least one resin and said at least one pigment without induced heating; *subsequent extrusion, with induced heating, of the mixture obtained from the preceding extrusion; *granulation of the mixture thus obtained. With the abovementioned process it is possible to obtain a composition having granules with an average diameter less than 2 microns and a greater homogeneity than the known processes.

摘要: A process for producing tyres including building a green tyre having two bead structures. Each bead structure includes a bead filler. The bead filler or another rigid component of the green tyre includes a final elastomeric compound produced by the following: feeding elastomeric polymer and reinforcement filler to a first batch mixing device; mixing and dispersing the reinforcement filler in the elastomeric polymer and unloading the obtained elastomeric compound; feeding the obtained elastomeric compound, along with at least 5 phr of reinforcement resin, to a continuous mixing device of intermeshing and co-rotating twin-screw or multi-screw type or of planetary type; mixing the reinforcement resin in the elastomeric compound and unloading the obtained elastomeric compound; and feeding the obtained elastomeric compound along with the components capable of facilitating the cross-linking to a second batch mixing device and mixing to obtain the final elastomeric compound. The first and second batch mixing device have two counterrotating rotors.

The base, barrel, or both are molded from a polymer composition that includes a thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer and a plurality of mineral fibers (also known as “whisker”). The mineral fibers have a median width of from about 1 to about 35 micrometers and constitute from about 5 wt. % to about 60 wt. % of the polymer composition.

摘要: Method and device for the extrusion of thermomechanically deformable materials, as well as a compact screw extruder. The configuration of the material infeed in a screw extruder, has a significantly smaller length-diameter ratio than known solutions from the fields of injection moulding and additive manufacturing and a crushing tool, located in the funnel-shaped infeed region of the vertically arranged screw extruder which prevents the rotational movement of the material in the funnel, and also thereby forces movement in the conveying direction of the screw extruder in combination with the gradient of the screw flanks. In addition, a portion of the coarse material is crushed, whereby the bulk material density is increased in the region of the screw and less air must be pressed out of the material in the region of the plasticization and homogenization zone.

The relation of the depth (d) to the diame-ter (D) of the rotor member, i.e. d:D, is not more than 1:20, and the relation of the pitch (P) of the rotor member to the di-ameter (D) of the rotor member, i.e. P:D, is not more than 1:4.
