摘要: A tube mat made of elastomer material in the form of an extrudate includes first and second front faces which are arranged in a vertical or angled manner in relation to the extrusion direction. A plurality of tubes extend in parallel in the extrusion direction between the two front faces. At least a portion of each tube is closed at adjustable distances whereby a closed air column respectively is formed and whereby the tube seal together with the tube mat forms a one-piece elastomer composite. A method for producing the tube mat is also provided in which after the extrusion, the tubes are closed at certain points by means of pressure and a pad roller, whereby beads and closing webs are produced. The pad roller is provided with pins that are distributed over the circumference of the roller. Vulcanization is carried out subsequently.

摘要: A method for manufacturing multiple channel membranes includes extruding a polymer solution through an extrusion nozzle wherein several needles are arranged through which a gas or liquid containing a coagulating agent is injected during extrusion, wherein the outer side of the extruded material is first brought into contact with a mild coagulation agent and subsequently with a strong coagulation agent. By using the method a membrane is obtained having parallel channels extending in extrusion direction, in which an active layer is situated in the channels, whereas the outer surface with respect to the active layer has no or hardly any resistance to flows of liquid. By using the method it is possible to make shapes, such as recessed portions, in the membrane circumference. Also disclosed is the use of such membranes in filtration and separation techniques.

摘要: Elastic band-shaped base (1) made of rubber or of a material similar to rubber for insulating and absorbing vibrations and impact sound, specially track-bed matting, wherein the base is fitted with spaced tubes (2, 3) running parallel to the ground side (4) of the base on at least two planes (I, II). The tubes have a semicircular, semi-oval, or semi-ellipsoidal cross section. The invention is characterized in that two planes (I, II) are arranged at a distance (A) in relation to each other, irrespective of the total number of the planes of tubes, forming a continuous intermediate covering (5) running parallel to the ground side (4) of the base (1), in such a way that the smoothed down sides of the tubes (2, 3) all face the intermediate covering (5). The inventive design provides for advantageous construction parameters of the elastic base.

摘要: A process for making an opaque, oriented polymeric film structure and the resultant film structures. The process comprises preparing a melt containing a crystallizable polymeric matrix material at a temperature of at least above the melting point of the polymeric matrix material and thereafter forming the melt into a sheet containing molten polymeric matrix material. The sheet containing molten material is then cooled to form a sheet containing amorphous polymeric matrix material and crystallites of the polymeric matrix material. The sheet while containing the amorphous polymeric matrix material is then formed into a film by stretching the sheet in at least one direction so as to form voids adjacent to at least some of the crystallites and thereby impart opacity to the film. Film structures made by the above process have a plurality of voids, at least some of the voids not containing a void-initiating particle and at least some of the voids being interconnected with an adjacent void in the polymeric matrix material, the number of voids being sufficient to impart a significant degree of opacity in the film structure.

摘要: An extruded hollow thermoplastic board, which includes a pair of flat and parallel sheets spaced apart and interconnected by extending ribs, generally has a plurality of depression bands in the areas where the flat sheets and extending ribs are joined. The bands, which negatively affect the surface flatness, are especially apparent for crystalline thermoplastic materials. A hollow thermoplastic board, which effectively reduces the depth of the depression bands by inclusion of locationally fixed gas pockets in the rib area during production, is disclosed in the present invention. The hollow thermoplastic board of the present invention substantially enhances the surface smoothness and is highly beneficial to applications such as printing, lamination and graphic art. The present invention also provides a method for production of the hollow thermoplastic boards of smooth surfaces.
