摘要: An image recording apparatus includes a controller configured to: (a) when a remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving a recording start instruction to start image recording on one recording medium is equal to or less than a predetermined amount and a calculated ink remaining amount is less than a required ink amount, not to start the image recording; and (b) when the remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving the recording start instruction is more than the predetermined amount, start the image recording according to the recording start instruction and, during the image recording according to the recording start instruction, when the remaining amount of ink is equal to or less than the predetermined amount and the calculated ink remaining amount is equal to or less than a threshold, interrupt the image recording.

摘要: A digital printing system includes an intermediate transfer member (ITM), to receive a printing fluid to form an image, a continuous target substrate having opposing first surface and second surface, a light source to illuminate the first surface, and an image sensor to image at least a portion of the light transmitted through the target substrate to the second surface, and a processor. The target substrate configured to engage with the ITM at an engagement point for receiving the image from the ITM, and at the engagement point, the ITM is configured to move at a first velocity and the target substrate is configured to move at a second velocity. The processor is configured to produce a digital image based on the electrical signals, and to estimate, based on the digital image, at least a distortion in the image.

摘要: A dual label combination is provided. The label combination includes a label substrate, and the label substrate is die cut with at least three separate labels. The label combination also includes a liner substrate attached to a back side of the label substrate. The label substrate including at least two die cuts with one of the die cuts defining a liner label that corresponds to one of the at least three labels of the label substrate. A back side of the liner substrate includes a coating for imaging on the liner substrate with: inkjet, laser, direct thermal, or thermal transfer printing. The liner label and the corresponding label of the label substrate separable from the label combination by a manufactured pull tab substantially centered at a bottom of the liner label of the liner substrate and the corresponding label of the label substrate.

A corrected master image may be printed on a second printable substrate to obtain a second decorative substrate. The error correction operation may involve adding an intentional defect to the corrected master image.

The stencil mask is for printing a fluid material onto a substrate, and comprises: a stencil member comprising: at least one printing region each having an array of apertures that allow the fluid material to flow therethrough and deposit onto the substrate; and a blocking region configured to prevent the fluid material from flowing therethrough; and a supporting member attached to the stencil member and configured to, when the stencil mask is placed on the substrate, contact the substrate and create a gap between the stencil member and the substrate.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a transfer paper for sublimation printing comprising a fibrous substrate and an ink-receiving layer ink-receiving layer, wherein the ink-receiving layer comprises a cationic inorganic component, a cationic organic component or both in an amount of from 10 to 90 wt. %, optionally a filler in an amount of up to 75 wt. %, a hydrophilic binder in an amount of from 5 to 50 wt. %, and a hydrophobic binder in an amount of from 5 to 50 wt. %, based on the total weight of the ink-receiving layer. 摘要: A method of printing radiopaque indicia on a medical device. The method includes applying radiopaque marking fluid to a surface of a plate comprising one or more etchings having a depth of at least 0.0001 inches, exposing the radiopaque marking fluid on the surface of the plate to air to allow the radiopaque marking fluid to achieve a sufficient level of tackiness, and transferring the radiopaque marking fluid to a medical device. The radiopaque marking fluid comprises a clear ink and tungsten particulates having a particulate size of more than one micron.
