摘要: A paint pouch fitting for a paint dispensing system comprising a piston slidable within a housing. A passage in the housing includes an inlet communicating with a paint pouch, and an outlet. The passage also includes a piercable membrane positioned between the inlet and the outlet. The piston includes a blade for piercing the membrane. The positioning of the piston within the passage defines two working positions allowing for four operational modes of shipping, piercing, dispensing, and storing.

摘要: An opening device is taught for packages comprising a substantially rigid outer wall portion and an inner layer of substantially gas-tight material (preferably a metallic foil), wherein the outer wall portion includes a first tearing notch defining an opening and a second tearing notch defining a grip tongue. The outer wall and the inner wall being interconnected substantially over their total surfaces facing each other with said outer wall portion and said inner layer being separated within an area substantially under said grip tongue. Preferably, the grip tongue is located completely within the opening defined by said first tearing notch.

摘要: Embodiments herein describe a scanning station for identifying an air gap between one or more items stored in a container (e.g., a cardboard box) and a surface of the container (e.g., a top lid of the cardboard box). After identifying the air gap, in one embodiment, the scanning station provides instructions to a downstream cutting station where the container is cut opened. In one embodiment, the scanning station includes one or more articulating arms that each includes a scanner (e.g., a radar sensor) attached on an end of the articulating arm facing the container. Moving the articulating arms along the boundaries of the container provides a 3D image of the inside of the container. By processing this image, the scanning station can identify an air gap along a desired cut line as well as a thickness of the sides of the container.

摘要: A beverage canister top that facilitates high flow rate includes a canister base, a lateral wall, and a canister top. The canister base and the canister top are oppositely positioned from each other, and the lateral wall is positioned in between the canister top and the canister base. The positioning of the canister base, the lateral wall, and canister top complete the beverage canister. A rotatably connected opening tab of the canister top opens a main spout of the canister top so that the beverage within the beverage canister can flow out. A punch hole of the canister top which is either opened or created by a punch protrusion of the opening tab equalize the inside and outside pressure of the beverage canister in such way that the equalization of the pressure increases the beverage flow rate of the beverage canister.

The container body is constituted of a nonflexible tubular upper structure which is resistant to press deformation, and a flexible bottomed tubular lower structure extending downward from the lower edge of the upper structure and being susceptible to press deformation, wherein a press board connected rotatably with the upper structure and equipped with a cutter is provided vertically in the container. A lid plate is cut by pressing the press board from the outside to rotate the cutter.

摘要: The present invention relates to apparatus, systems, and methods for opening an autosampler sealed sample pan prior to TGA testing. The sealed sample pan comprises a pan, cover, and bail. A notch is formed in the seal sample pan cover. The cover can be opened by applying a concentrated force to the inside of the notch with a punch element integrated into the autosampler. This causes the center disk portion of the cover to be partially sheared and the sealed sample pan to be opened. It also prevents the punch element from touching the sample. A force sensor is used to determine if the cover has been opened. If the cover has been opened, then the sample pan is loaded to the TGA balance. If the cover has not been opened, the autosampler will not load the pan and will automatically move to the next sealed sample pan.
