    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a lithium-tellurium silicon-lead bismuth multi-component glass-oxide-complex system and conductive paste containing same, belonging to the technical field of solar cells. According to the present disclosure, a “functional modularization” strategy is adopted in a formula design of the glass-oxide-complex system, and glass oxide systems with selective reactivity for different passivation layers are compounded based on the structures, compositions and thicknesses of the passivation layers, so that a paste formula is developed, which is composed of lithium-containing, tellurium-silicon-containing and lead-containing glass oxides. Due to adoption of the modularized formula strategy, active ingredients can be better controlled, and the overall paste formula is more optimized, so that the laminated passivation layers can be selectively burned through to obtain a more balanced contact, and better battery performance on silicon wafers with different passivation layer thicknesses can be achieved, thus achieving excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency.

    Abstract: A system and method for processing leaded glass are presented, in which glass input is tumbled within the cylinder of a ball mill while it is being exposed to an electrolytic fluid. As the glass input is tumbled, balls within the ball mill pulverize the glass input into pulverized glass input particulate matter thereby exposing lead or other heavy metals contained within the glass input to a surface of the pulverized glass input particulate matter. The exposed lead or other heavy metals are largely dissolved by the electrolytic fluid leaving a mostly lead or heavy metal free pulverized glass input particulate matter. A reagent is applied to the pulverized glass input particulate matter to neutralize any residual lead or heavy metal within the pulverized glass input particulate matter thereby allowing the processed pulverized glass input particulate matter to pass a Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) environmental test.

    Abstract: The space glasses have a composition, in wt. % based on oxide content, including SiO2, 12-45; B2O3, 0-4; Al2O3, 0-4; TiO2, 0-5; PbO, 50-82; Na2O, 0-4; K2O, 0-8; and at least 0.1 wt. % of a total amount of at least three doping agents selected from CeO2, MoO3, Bi2O3, WO3, Ag2O, SnO2, Sb2O3 and As2O3. Light-weight and space-saving optical systems for outer space applications can be made with these space glasses, which have high UV- and VIS-transmittance and high transmittance stability, because of their high radiation resistance based on their dopant content. A preferred process for making the space glass includes melting the above-stated oxide ingredients in a quartz crucible at 1050° C. to 1200° C. to form a melt and refining the melt at 1230° C. to 1350° C.

    Abstract: A glass composition specially useful in the glass envelope of TV receiver tubes and which is of the lead silicate type is disclosed comprising in weight percent 30-65% SiO.sub.2, 20-40% PbO, 5-20% alkali metal oxides, 0-2% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0-10% alkaline earth metal oxides, 0.2-2% Sb.sub.2 O.sub.3, and 0.1-0.5% CeO.sub.2. The improvement resides in employment of a novel refining system when the glass is formed which employs Sb.sub.2 O.sub.3, niter and CeO.sub.2 as the refining agents in particular weight proportions to reduce the seed count in the molten glass while also reducing thermal shock breakage when the solid glass product is thereafter thermally reworked.
