摘要: A genome-specific gene sequence fragment of female Acipenser Dabryanus and a method for identifying the sex of Acipenser Dabryanus are disclosed. The gene sequence fragment of Acipenser Dabryanus is used to identify the sex of Acipenser Dabryanus. The method includes: performing PCR amplification on the DNA of the Acipenser Dabryanus to be tested, and judging that the Acipenser Dabryanus to be tested is female when a resultant product from the amplification shows 3 bands on an agarose gel and the Acipenser Dabryanus to be tested is male when a resultant product from the amplification shows 2 bands on an agarose gel, alternatively, judging that the Acipenser Dabryanus to be tested is female when a resultant fragment from the amplification has a 1402 bp band and it is male if there is no 1402 bp band. The gene sequence fragment is used to quickly and efficiently identify the sex of Acipenser Dabryanus.

摘要: Oligonucleotide primers and probes for quantifying and/or detecting human male DNA in a forensic sample. The oligonucleotides are useful for amplifying a multicopy locus within the human Y-chromosome (MCL-Y) that shares at least 80% sequence identity to a sequence according to SEQ ID NO. 3 over a stretch of at least 60 base pairs. The oligonucleotides hybridize under stringent conditions to a nucleic acid having at least one sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO. 3 to SEQ ID NO. 11 and/or SEQ ID NO. 17 to SEQ ID NO. 25. Kits including the oligonucleotide primers, probes and/or primer pairs and reagents for performing an amplification reaction on DNA recovered from a forensic sample are also disclosed.

摘要: A method and system for analyzing sex-chromosome aneuploidies of an individual are provided. In one embodiment, a method comprises training a neural network model based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome. The method also comprises determining a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm. The machine learning algorithm is configured to receive, as inputs, the normalized read depth, and output the respective sex-chromosome status of the individual. In another embodiment, a system I is provided including a neural network model trained based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome and is adapted to determine a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm.

摘要: Methods are disclosed for non-invasively obtaining fetal cells from a pregnant female. The methods include placing an absorbent medium in an interlabial or intravaginal space or adjacent to the perineum at the vaginal opening of the pregnant female, and collecting vaginal fluid comprising cells in the absorbent medium while the absorbent medium is interlabial or intravaginal space or adjacent to the perineum at the vaginal opening. The absorbent medium is removed and cells are isolated from the absorbent medium to obtain the fetal cells. The fetal cells can be, for example, somatic cells, embroyic stem cells, fetal stem cells or trophoblast cells.
