摘要: A device for decorative sewing of articles made of leather includes a longitudinal guide (7) a part of which is laterally delimited by two inclined flat surfaces (7a, 7b) upwardly convergent, forming at the top a tooth (10) on which an article (1) to be sewn is moved. A folding member (12), situated over the longitudinal guide (7), clamps the article (1) to the tooth (10), by folding this article (1) on the inclined flat surfaces (7a, 7b), when the needle (20) has formed a stitch (4). A leather pressing element (15) oscillates on a plane that is transversal with respect to the longitudinal guide (7) and presses the article (1) in position adjacent to the stitch 4 just formed, on the side where the needle (20) enters the article (1).

摘要: A universal work feeding mechanism for a zigzag sewing machine whereby the needle jogging mechanism may be converted conveniently into a work feeding mechanism for transporting the work fabric laterally of the usual direction of feed of the work through the machine. By means of a novel pattern cam for the needle jogging mechanism of the sewing machine lateral work feeding may be accomplished, and a special sewing machine presser foot facilitates feeding of the work fabric not only in the conventional direction, but also transversely thereof.

摘要: A method for making an air permeable waterproof textile with an uneven pattern is disclosed. The density of the arrangement of the threading holes is high or low by controlling the transportation speed of the fabric foundation. The density of the threading holes is high while the transportation speed is high, and the density of the threading holes is low while the transportation speed is low. A vent-typed backing fabric is formed with a plurality of tiny through holes distributed densely and without removing chips. Partial or total burr portions are rolled over by the upper roller and the lower roller with the predetermined pattern so as to shield corresponding threading holes with different extent. The threading holes without shielding have total air permeability. The partially shielded threading holes have partial air permeability with different percentages. The areas of the textile without the threading holes have water proof characteristics.

摘要: A relatively long needle (22) is supported at the lower end of a needle bar (28). The needle bar (28) and needle (22) are moved up and down and forwardly and rearwardly. The needle bar (28) and needle (22) are moved forwardly while they are in materials (M) which are being sewed together, to in that manner advance the materials (M) stitch by stitch. The materials (M) are supported on a bed (10) which includes a slot (20) which is elongated in the direction of the stitch path. The needle (22) is received in the slot (22). A side boundary of the slot (20) provides a side guide surface (84) which is contiguous a first side of the needle (22). An upper thread (76) extends downwardly from a thread guide (110) into a side groove (86) in the first side of the needle (22), to and through a needle eye (80). A recess (82) is formed in the second side of the needle (22) above the needle eye (80). Following downward movement of the needle (22) through the materials (M), the needle (22) is moved upwardly. The first upward movement of needle (22) forms a loop (76') in the upper thread (76) laterally adjacent the recess (82). A shuttle hook moves along a path which includes the recess (82) and engages the loop (76') and moves the loop into a knot forming engagement with a lower thread (78). The side guide surface (84) prevents sideways deflection of the needle (22) away from the shuttle hook at a time when a presser foot component (32) is lifted to take pressure off of the materials (M) and allow the needle (22) to advance the materials (M) forwardly.

摘要: Disclosed herein is waiting means for use in an embroidering machine which has a head; a needle bar vertically movably carried in the forward end portion of the head and having a needle operatively connected thereto for forming embroidery stitches on a cloth; a nipple vertically movably carried in the forward end portion of the head in parallel relation with the needle bar, the nipple slidably receiving the needle bar therewithin and adapted to be lowered synchronously when the needle bar is lowered so as to press the cloth at the needle location where the needle passes through the cloth; and a presser foot vertically movably carried in the forward end portion of the head in parallel relation with the needle bar and the nipple, the presser foot, when the needle is raised, being adapted to be displaced horizontally so as to horizontally feed the cloth while pressing the cloth around the needle location. The waiting means comprises lifting means mechanically coupled to the top portion of the head and adapted to lift each of the needle bar, the nipple and the presser foot upwardly so as to bring each to a waiting position when the sewing operation is stopped.

摘要: Various examples are provided related to transporting and sewing material in, e.g., automation of sewing robots. An automated sewing process feed control system is disclosed in which a material aligner is utilized. An omni-chain material aligner can include a circular roller chain in which the rollers allow for a controlling force to be applied to a material. An omni-belt material aligner can include a belt with attached perpendicular rollers which allow feed control and active motorized steering control. The material aligner can control the pressure applied onto the material to facilitate control of feeding the material.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a machine with which it is possible to effect the stitching between the vamp and the upper part of the shoe and thus to create the upper border on "moccasin" type shoes, in particular, those of the "tubular moccasin" type, which utilize a continuous end sealed vamp. An improved ruffling of the vamp prior to attachment to the upper portion is accomplished by synchronized ruffling jaws. The machine operates in a fully automatic fashion and has the capability to vary the length of the stitch and of the ruffle of the vamp in the region of the upper part of the shoe.
