    摘要: A fabric (20) for reinforcement of canvasses having a plastic coating. The fabric (20) comprises a warp (22) and a weft (24) which form meshes having a maximum dimension ranging from 5 cm to 25 cm. At least one of the warp or the weft is formed by a strip (10) which comprises a matrix of a thermoplastic material (12) which is adherable to the plastic coating of the canvasses This strip further comprises two or more elongated metal members (14). This strip has a cross-sectional average thickness ranging from 0.50 mm to 3.0 mm and a cross-sectional width ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm. The strip and the fabric allow to reinforce the canvass in a cheaply way without adding too much additional weights.

    摘要: A sheet material having leather-like grain, excellent scuffing and abrasion resistance and superior dyeability comprising in combination, a substrate, and intermediate layer of 0.05 to 2.5 mm thickness consisting of a finely napped porous polymer bonded to said substrate and an upper layer consisting of a polymeric coating of thickness ranging from 1-100 microns. In typical embodiments, the upper layer may be a polymeric coating material such as linear or cross-linked polyurethanes, the intermediate layer may be a porous polyester, polyamide, vinyl or elastomeric polymer, e.g. a polyurethane, and the substrate may be a woven or non-woven fabric. In preparation of this sheet material, the intermediate layer is pressed and condensed to about 10 to 90% to a density of from about 0.20 to 0.50 g/cc.

    摘要: A method for making an air permeable waterproof textile with an uneven pattern is disclosed. The density of the arrangement of the threading holes is high or low by controlling the transportation speed of the fabric foundation. The density of the threading holes is high while the transportation speed is high, and the density of the threading holes is low while the transportation speed is low. A vent-typed backing fabric is formed with a plurality of tiny through holes distributed densely and without removing chips. Partial or total burr portions are rolled over by the upper roller and the lower roller with the predetermined pattern so as to shield corresponding threading holes with different extent. The threading holes without shielding have total air permeability. The partially shielded threading holes have partial air permeability with different percentages. The areas of the textile without the threading holes have water proof characteristics.

    摘要: A fabric for reinforcement of canvasses having a plastic coating includes a warp and a weft which form meshes. The meshes have a maximum dimension ranging from 5 cm to 30 cm with at least one of the warp or the weft being formed by a strip which comprises a matrix of a thermoplastic material which is adherable to the plastic coating of the canvasses. The strip includes two or more elongated metal members and has a cross-sectional average thickness ranging from 0.50 mm to 3.0 mm and a cross-sectional width ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm. The metal members provide the canvasses sufficient resistance against the cutting action of a knife or against the action of a pair of shears.
