摘要: A tunnel segment radial cross gasket includes a base side or face and a top side or face. A plurality of longitudinally extending spaced parallel grooves are disposed on the base side. One or more longitudinally oriented bores, which are spaced from each other, extend through the gasket. The top face of the gasket includes first and second sections, with the second section being tapered or angled in relation to the first section.

摘要: A tunnel construction made of tubbings forming a lining or casing for a tunnel includes a plurality of contact points between adjacent tubbings. These contact points comprise adhesive material acting to connect adjacent tubbings to each other at predetermined points. The contact points are distributed around the circumference of the tubbing rings at predetermined locations which depend on the type of the tubbing used and also on the points of pressure application by the driving shield of a tunneling or heading machine. The present tubbings have recesses in their surface facing into the tunnel whereby the recesses have a substantially trapezoidal shape to form three ribs extending substantially in the direction of the longitudinal tunnel axes.

摘要: A tubbing lining for a tunnel or shaft is formed from tubbing rings having annular end surfaces, with successively tubbing rings are aligned with each other at annular end surfaces forming an annular joint. Each tubbing ring is composed of successive circumferentially arranged tubbing segments which are butt-joined. A deformable flexible element having an outer cross-sectional contour is arranged in at least one butt joint, with the cross-sectional contour parallel to the butt joint matching outer contours of the end faces such that the flexible element completely covers at least one abutting end face. The tubbing segments in conjunction with the flexible element form a prefabricated element formed of a steel reinforcing framework encased in concrete to which the flexible element is connected in a force-locked manner.

摘要: A compression body (7) is inserted into the contraction joint (6) between two tunnel lining elements (2, 3), which body deforms in response to a compressive load caused by the tunnel lining elements' (2, 3) moving towards each other. The compression body (7) is composed of a material containing voids, and has a compressive strength of at least 1 MPa and a void fraction of between 10% and 90% of its total volume. The compression body (7) may be composed, for example, of steel foam, or of a mixture which contains cement and blown-glass particles or plastic particles. When a predetermined compressive load is exceeded, the voids within the compression body (7) collapse in a stepwise manner, or are compressed in a stepwise manner.

摘要: A gasket for concrete structures such as tunnel segments includes a gasket body having a bottom face configured to be positioned against a surface of an associated tunnel segment. First and second anchor members protrude from opposed side edges of the gasket adjacent the bottom face of the gasket. The anchor members are configured to attach the gasket to the tunnel segment during casting of a precast concrete member. The gasket body forms a groove in the concrete member and the anchor members form side channels in the groove. Should a defect be found in the original gasket, the gasket body can be removed from the groove of the concrete member relatively easily, even in the field, and a replacement gasket having corresponding anchor members can be snapped into the groove.

摘要: A method for installing ceiling panels in a tunnel comprises installing a plurality of brackets in the tunnel roof and disposing a horizontal platform at an intermediate height in the tunnel. A plurality of ceiling panels are lifted onto the platform where the panels are then linked together to form a ceiling section. The platform is then raised upwardly until the panels are adjacent the brackets, and the panels are then secured to the brackets.
