    摘要: The invention includes a combustion chamber and an injection strategy for a direct fuel injected internal combustion engine. The combustion chamber is formed with a substantially flat surface to provide a large surface area on which fuel can collect and evaporated. At high loads, fuel is injected into the combustion in two stages. The first stage starts before top-dead center and stops before a prohibited range where smoke is produced. The second stage starts after the prohibited range and stops approximately when the intake valve is at its maximum lift.

    摘要: A material activating device (10) comprises a radioactive layer (11) of a radioactive means that generates radioactive rays for irradiating a material to be activated, and conductive metal layers (12,13) disposed on one side of the radioactive layer (11) and interposed between the radioactive layer (11) and the material to be activated. Radioactive rays emitted by the radioactive means ionizes the material, and the conductive metal layers are charged with electric charges generated when the material is ionized. The conductive metal layers create an electric field and a magnetic field. The material can very efficiently be activated by interaction between the electric and the magnetic field, and the ionized material.

A rubber cap is mounted on the safety switch, and is connected to a first end of a strap which has a second end that may be tied on a driver's body, so that the rubber cap may be detached from the safety switch by the strap in an emergency condition.

    摘要: A fuel injector for vaporizing a liquid fuel for use in an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector includes at least one capillary flow passage, a heat source arranged along the at least one capillary flow passage, the heat source operable to heat the liquid fuel in the at least one capillary flow passage to a level sufficient to change at least a portion thereof from the liquid state to a vapor state and deliver a stream of substantially vaporized fuel from the outlet end of the at least one capillary flow passage; and a valve for metering fuel to the internal combustion engine, the valve located proximate to the outlet end of the at least one capillary flow passage, the valve including a low mass member for substantially occluding the stream of fuel to the internal combustion engine; wherein the low mass member for substantially occluding the stream of fuel to the internal combustion engine is formed of a material having low mass and or a low coefficient of thermal conductivity. The fuel injector is effective in reducing cold-start and warm-up emissions of an internal combustion engine.

    摘要: A method for causing a very fine atomization or vaporization of a liquid or liquid-like fluid, where the resulting atomized or vaporized solution is entered into engine, instrument or area for the fluid to be in mixed. The ability of the near supercritical atomizer to produce very fine droplets of a wide range of liquids without any aspirant is very important for number of industrial applications. Especially when the drop size can be so finely controlled. Industries needing such fine atomization include applications such as combustion, engines, scientific equipment, chemical processing, waste disposal control, cleaning, etching, insect control, surface modification, humidification and vaporization. It is important in these applications not to cause a decomposition of the material being atomized. Staying below the supercritical point normally enables no decomposition and/or no precipitation of components within the liquid or fluid in most applications, but a very fine atomization is obtained without the need of any aspirant.
