    摘要: A liquid discharge system includes a liquid product pump having a sensor for monitoring vibrations passing through an outer casing of the liquid product pump to detect an occurrence of cavitation within the liquid product pump. A system and method for controlling the operation of a liquid product pump in an engine-driven hydraulic discharge system. The liquid product pump has a vibration sensor operable to detect cavitation within the liquid product pump and for providing an electrical vibration signal to a speed control module. The speed control module is operable to process the vibration signal and to produce an electrical speed control signal that is provided to an electronic actuator. The electronic actuator is operable to actuate a motor control lever of a variable speed hydraulic motor to adjust the operating speed of the liquid product pump.

    摘要: A hydraulic pump is described, comprising at least one inlet duct for a fluid, at least one outlet duct for the fluid and at least one pumping unit interposed between the inlet and outlet ducts. At least one multifunction valve is interposed between the inlet duct, upstream of the pumping unit, and the outlet duct, downstream of the pumping unit, which valve is configured to divert the flow of fluid from the inlet duct to the outlet duct without the fluid flowing into the pumping unit. The multifunction valve comprises a valve body that defines an inner bypass channel in which a shutter element is axially movable, an actuator member operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to move it from a closing position to an opening position of the bypass channel, and an elastic contrast element operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to keep it in the first closing position of the bypass channel when such shutter element is not actuated by the actuator member. The actuator member consists of a bias spring manufactured with a shape memory alloy, configured to move the shutter element from the first closing position to the second opening position of the bypass channel when a predefined temperature value is reached.

    摘要: The invention relates to fluid drive systems used in fluid wells and brake systems for permanent magnet wellhead direct drives. The braking controller connects or disconnects a brake resistor from a back EMF. A variable frequency drive (VFD) drives the motor and communicates with the control circuitry of the brake controller. The control circuitry monitors the brake resistor and depending on the rotational speed and direction of the motor and operating state of the VFD, disconnects or connects the brake resistor. If the direction of the motor is in reverse and above a threshold speed, it connects the brake resistor. If the direction of the motor is in reverse and below the threshold speed, the control circuitry dissipates stored back EMF through the brake controller. The amount of stored back EMF corresponds to the time to empty a pump.
