摘要: A variable heatable radiator for use in a fluid circuit containing coolant therein, and which can generate substantial amounts of heat to heat larger spaces, such as in a home or business, while utilizing minimal power to run, and which can be utilized in various implementations and configurations. The radiator can be selectively activated or de-activated by, for example, a cell phone or the like whereby the fluid circuit in the radiator can be monitored for time of use, temperature and cost of use. The circuit possesses at least one opening defined therein on sides of the radiator and top and bottom thereof which is in communication with the circuit, whereby a heating element can be inserted to heat the fluid.

摘要: Heat energy storage systems described in this disclosure can be used for long-term storage of large amounts of thermal energy. In some cases, such systems receive electrical energy from renewable energy sources such as solar panels or wind turbines. Using novel techniques, the heat energy storage systems covert the electrical energy to thermal energy that is stored in hot materials such as molten silicon, molten salts, or any other material that can store large amounts of heat. The heat energy storage systems incorporate extremely good thermal insulation of the thermal energy storage tank that contains the hot materials. The systems are also configured to release thermal energy in an efficient manner to an electricity-producing steam turbine using novel heat exchanger systems and techniques that are described. The energy storage systems described herein have a higher overall real-world efficiency than energy storage systems currently available.

摘要: An electric heating device for heating the interior of a cabinet containing electrical apparatus, such as a switch or distribution apparatus, to prevent sweating or condensation therein, includes at least one PTC electrical resistance heating and temperature self-regulating heating element situated in the interior of an elongated body made of thermally conductive material that is thermally connected to a radiator. The radiator is formed by a pair of flat base plates extending laterally from opposite sides of the body and radiator fins extending only from the base plates and only from one flat side thereof. The body is a massive hollow element having a wall thickness greater than that of the base plates and fins and a height greater than the thickness of the base plates. The body, base plates and fins are formed as a one piece extrusion. A permanent magnet may be used to secure the body to the interior surface of a steel cabinet.

摘要: Despite otherwise uncomfortable conditions in a surrounding environment, a customizable microenvironment can be created around a user to maintain a comfortable temperature and/or humidity level using a comfort unit. For example, the environment may be an office building where conditions are out of the comfortable range to save on energy or for other reasons, a factory/shop environment that is poorly conditioned, or an outdoor location with little to no conditioning. A sensing unit can monitor biometric and environmental data and can determine a comfort level of the user. The comfort unit can then dynamically respond to the determined comfort level and adjust the microenvironment to improve the user's comfort level. The comfort unit can follow the user as the user moves within the macro-environment, or can otherwise move within the macro-environment to achieve certain functions, such as recharging or spatial shifting of thermal load within the overall macro-environment.

摘要: A heating system includes: a heat generation unit which generates heat using electricity supplied through a second power system of a lower electricity rate; a heat storage unit which stores heat generated by the heat generation unit; a heat radiation unit which radiates heat stored in the heat storage unit; and a control unit which causes, when receiving a signal from a power supplier indicating that a supply of electricity through the second power system is to be stopped after an elapse of a predetermined period of time, the heat generation unit generates additional heat that is required while the supply of electricity through the second power system being suspended, during a period of time from when the signal is received to when the supply of electricity through the second power system is stopped.

摘要: A device for heat supply is disclosed having a heat absorber connected to a heat emitter via a heat conductor. The heat absorber collects the throw-away heat bound in the vicinity of the ceiling and transfers it via insulated metal core (that is, the heat conductor) to be emitted proximate the floor. This makes a sizable energy saving while no maintenance is required, and cold feet at home or in the office can be avoided throughout the year.

摘要: A temperature conditioning device for controlling temperature in a room where said device has a heat source wall, a heat sink wall, and a chamber between the walls adapted to be filled with a saturated vapor of a low boiling point heat carrier whereby the vapor of the condensate serves to transfer heat between the walls. A temperature responsive condensate control valve may be included to control flow of condensate of the heat carrier from one wall on which it may condense to the other wall on which it vaporizes such that the valve serves to regulate transfer of heat between the walls. A method of charging a temperature conditioning device with a low boiling point heat carrier which includes cooling the device, evacuating a chamber in the device, and then injecting in liquid form a low boiling point heat carrier into the chamber.
