摘要: A photoelectric conversion device includes a photoelectric conversion unit configured to output a photon detection signal in response to an incidence of a photon, a counting unit configured to count the photon detection signal output from the photoelectric conversion unit, and a counting control unit configured to control a counting operation in the counting unit. The counting control unit is configured to reset a count value and restart the counting operation from an initial value, when a count value from a start of the counting operation to a first time is less than a first threshold value and a count value from the start of the counting operation to a second time after the first time is equal to or greater than a second threshold value greater than the first threshold value.

Output image is generated based on: (i) image segment(s) of FImg and remaining image segment(s) of SImg, and/or (ii) remaining image segment(s) of FImg and image segment(s) of SImg.

摘要: A spectator system and method that displays different views of an event, such as a sporting event, and in particular uses a position selected by the spectator to assist in displaying a view from the selected position. The spectator, using an internet device can zoom, pan, tilt and change the view, as well as change the view to another position, such as a finish line, goal, or a participant position (e.g. Driver of car #3 or Tiger Wood's position). The starting viewing position can be specified, as well as the target position or orientation from the starting viewing position. Vital information on the sporting event or a participant can be appended to the view. In some forms, artificial reality or any geographic referenced datasets can be used and combined, such as 3D imagery or 3D renderings, to enhance the experience.

摘要: A hand-held observation device includes: a laser rangefinder (LRF) unit configured to measure a distance between the observation device and a target point on a remote target, a camera configured to capture images of the target, a pose detection unit configured to detect a pose of the observation device, a display unit configured to display an image of the target, a user input device and a digital processing unit comprising a memory for storing program data and measurement data. The digital processing unit can receive a measurement request from the user, can receive image data from the camera, can continuously receive pose data from the pose detection unit, can trigger range measurements to target points using the LRF unit, can receive range-measurement data from the LRF unit, can calculate 3D target point coordinates for the target points, can store the 3D target point coordinates in the memory, can compare the stored 3D target point coordinates with the measurement request to determine one or more regions with missing 3D target points coordinates, can continuously-monitor the pose of the observation device based on the pose data, can detect when the measurement axis of the LRF unit aims at a region with missing 3D target point coordinates, and can trigger an additional range measurement for measuring 3D target point coordinates.

摘要: A method of Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) includes generating a first optical pulse that propagates towards a target and receiving an optical return signal reflected from the target resulting from the generated first optical pulse. The optical return signal is processed to determine a number of additional optical pulses desired to be propagated towards the target to meet a performance criteria. The determined number of additional optical pulses is then generated and propagated towards the target. The additional optical return signals reflected from the target are received and processed to obtain one or more LIDAR measurements.

摘要: An object detection device includes an acquisition module and a detection module. The acquisition module acquires a detection distance indicating a distance from a transmission/reception unit mounted on a vehicle to an object and a reception intensity indicating an intensity of a reflected wave received by the transmission/reception unit. The detection distance is detected based on results of transmission of a transmission wave by the transmission/reception unit and reception of the reflected wave from the object by the transmission/reception unit. The detection module detects a detection target among objects including the object based on the reception intensity exceeding an intensity threshold. The detection module increases the intensity threshold when the detection distance is a distance threshold or less and the detection target is detected.

摘要: This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for generating location information associated with a video. For instance, an electronic device may use a radar sensor to generate radar data. The electronic device may then analyze the radar data in order to determine a location associated with an object. In some instances, the location may correspond to at least a first coordinate along a first axis and a second coordinate along a second axis. The electronic device may also generate image data using the imaging device. Additionally, the electronic device may analyze the image data in order to determine that the image data represents an object and/or a type of object. The electronic device may then generate location data representing an identifier for the object and the location. Next, the electronic device may send the image data and the location data to one or more computing devices.

The decoupling element includes a hollow-cylindrical element for enclosing the cylindrical ultrasonic transceiver element of the ultrasonic sensor and a plurality of support ribs which are arranged in the radial direction outside the hollow-cylindrical element and are spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the hollow-cylindrical element for supporting the decoupling element on a region of the flat component outside the cutout when the cylindrical ultrasonic transceiver element with the hollow-cylindrical element enclosing it is introduced by an end portion at an axial end into the cutout.
