摘要: Applicant has created systems, methods, and apparatuses for controlling the power supply of a vacuum cleaner motor. The systems and apparatuses include pressure taps to detect a pressure differential within a vacuum cleaner, a float that adjusts depending on an amount of liquid stored, and a power switch that toggles based on the pressure differential created by the position of the float. Alternatively, the float can be replaced by an air chamber so that the pressure differential is created by liquid rising above the volume of air trapped in the chamber. The method can include interrupting the current supplied to an electrical circuit of a power switch based upon a pressure differential created within the vacuum. By controlling the power supply to a vacuum cleaner motor based on a pressure differential created by the amount of liquid stored within the vacuum cleaner, the vacuum cleaner can automatically disable the vacuum cleaner's motor as the vacuum approaches its maximum liquid capacity.

摘要: The present application discloses a pressure switch which includes a tube structure, a pressure transmitting assembly, a microswitch, and corrugated sheets. The pressure transmitting assembly disposed inside the tube structure includes a guide rod with a piston, and a fluid chamber providing working pressure is defined between the piston and a fluid inlet. The microswitch is disposed at another end of the tube structure away from the fluid inlet and can be actuated by the guide rod. The corrugated sheets are fixed inside the tube structure and stacked on the piston structure so as to form a sealing and pressure transmitting interface for the pressure switch. Therefore, the pressure switch has good sealing property, good buffering capacity, and enhanced mechanical response rate with the corrugated sheets and is suitable for precision pressure measurement and control in an environment with high pressure and high frequency vibration.

摘要: A motor control circuit for the comminuter motor of a waste disposal unit, incorporating an air sack around the inlet to the waste disposal unit, and a pressure responsive electrical switch, the motor being de-energized in absence of a pressure signal from the sack caused by the insertion of a safety guard in the inlet.

摘要: A device for preventing electrical energy flow to a water heating element when an insufficient amount of water is in contact with the element for absorbing the heat generated. The device or element protector is coupled to an exit pipe which extends into the heating tank immediately above the heating element. Normally open contact switches within the protector allow electrical energy flow to the element only when water covers the element and has entered the protector causing a diaphragm and a movable structure to force the switches closed. A helical spring and snap disc are employed to allow the switches to close and open at different pressure points. Means are provided to adjust the spring for different operating pressures. A float and chamber within the protector prevent switch activation when water does not cover the heating element.
