摘要: A regenerative braking controller for an AC motor. To determine an electromagnetic torque for slowing or stopping the motor, the regenerative braking controller accesses a lookup table to retrieve a braking torque value corresponding to a current estimate of rotor velocity. The retrieved braking torque may correspond to a maximum or minimum torque level at which regenerative braking will occur at the current rotor velocity, or to a torque level at which charging current during regenerative braking will be maximized. If an external mechanical brake is present, the regenerative braking controller can forward an external braking torque signal to a controller so that the mechanical brake can apply the remainder of the braking force beyond that indicated by the regenerative braking torque. A method for establishing the braking torques to be stored in the lookup table is also disclosed.

The controller is configured to receive at least one signal associated with a phase current of the motor, detect an angular position of the rotor based on the phase current of the motor within a variable speed range of zero to at least 15,000 rotations-per-minute (RPM), and control the drive signal based on the detected angular position of the rotor to electronically commutate the motor within a power output of zero to at least 1500 watts.

摘要: This electric brake device includes: a brake rotor, a friction member, a friction member operator, an electric motor, and a controller which controls, by controlling the electric motor, a braking force generated as a result of contact between the friction member and the brake rotor. The electric brake device includes a vehicle speed estimator which estimates the speed of the vehicle having the electric brake device mounted thereon. The controller includes a power limiter which limits the power that drives the electric motor. When an estimated vehicle speed, which is the speed of the vehicle estimated by the vehicle speed estimator, is in a determined low-speed range, the power limiter limits the power in accordance with a condition that has been determined such that the maximum power consumption of the electric brake device decreases in accordance with decrease in the estimated vehicle speed.

摘要: A braking torque closed-loop control system and method for a switch reluctance motor. The closed-loop control system comprises a torque regulator, a mode selector, a current regulator, an angle optimization controller and a torque estimator. On the basis of the rotating speed of the motor, the mode selector implements a phase current soft chopper control in a low rotating speed region and an angle position control in a high rotating speed region. The current regulator performs soft chopper hysteretic current regulation. The angle optimization controller optimizes a turn-on angle and a turn-off angle of a power converter master switch to reduce torque pulsation and improve braking energy feedback efficiency. The torque estimator conducts an on-line estimation of an actual braking torque estimated value of the motor based on an actual phase voltage and current of the motor to achieve braking torque signal feedback.

摘要: A control apparatus is applied to a system that includes a rotating electric machine and an inverter. The inverter has, for each of a plurality of phases, upper-arm and lower-arm switches each of which has a diode connected in antiparallel thereto. The control apparatus includes an all-phase short-circuiting unit and a single-phase short-circuiting unit. The all-phase short-circuiting unit performs all-phase short-circuit control of turning on, for example, all the upper-arm switches of the plurality of phases while turning off all the lower-arm switches of the plurality of phases. The single-phase short-circuiting unit performs, in a regenerative drive state of the rotating electric machine and prior to execution of the all-phase short-circuit control, single-phase short-circuit control of turning on one of the upper-arm and lower-arm switches of one of the plurality of phases, turning off the other switch of the phase and turning off all the switches of the remaining phases.

摘要: A home appliance having a motor includes: an inverter unit; and an inverter control unit for controlling a switching operation of the inverter unit, wherein the inverter control unit generates a braking command for braking the motor, on the basis of an operating mode of the home appliance, and controls the inverter unit to stop the motor when a preset braking time elapses after the braking command is generated, and to execute a first braking mode in which the rotational speed of the motor is reduced in a state where no current flows in the inverter control unit, and then to execute at least one of a second braking mode and a third braking mode in which the rotational speed of the motor is reduced in a state where a current flows in the inverter control unit.
