摘要: A system and method for acid gas separations using porous frameworks of metal atoms coordinatively bound to polytopic linkers that are functionalized with basic nitrogen ligands that expose nitrogen atoms to the pore volumes forming adsorption sites. Adjacent basic nitrogen ligands on the metal-organic framework can form an ammonium from one ligand and a carbamate from the other. The formation of one ammonium carbamate pair influences the formation of ammonium carbamate on adjacent adsorption sites. Adsorption of acid gas at the adsorption sites form covalently linked aggregates of more than one ammonium carbamate ion pair. The acid gas adsorption isotherm can be tuned to match the step position with the partial pressure of acid gas in the gas mixture stream through manipulation of the metal-ligand bond strength by selection of the ligand, metal and polytopic linker materials.

摘要: The present invention concerns the field of capturing the CO2 from a gaseous effluent. The incoming gaseous effluent is burned with a fuel, so as to obtain a hot gaseous effluent rich in acidic compounds, and the hot gaseous effluent rich in acidic compounds is cooled to give a cold effluent rich in acidic compounds, which is subsequently used in the step of contacting with an absorbent solution rich in acidic compounds.

摘要: A method for simultaneous removal of NO and carbonic particles and inorganic dust from flue gases in a reactor with a catalyst for direct decomposition of nitric oxide located on a metallic monolith, includes tangential introduction of flue gases to the reactor circumference. Flue gases flow rotationally and downwards in the reactor in contact with an undulating surface of metallic foil located on an inner wall of the reactor chamber and in contact with the catalyst on a spiral band falling to the lower part of the reactor, and next flue gases jet direction counter-currently to a cylindrical inner chamber containing slices of the monolithic catalyst disturbing laminar flow of the flue gases jet. The reactor arrangement provides for simultaneous removal of NO and carbon particles and inorganic dust from flue gases.

摘要: Process for the joint production of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate crystals, according to which: a solid powder derived from sodium sesquicarbonate, having a mean particle diameter comprised between 0.1 and 10 mm is dissolved in water; the resulting water solution is introduced into a crystallizer, wherein a first water suspension comprising sodium carbonate crystals is produced; the first water suspension is subjected to a separation, in order to produce crystals comprising sodium carbonate on the one hand, which are valorized, and a mother liquor on the other hand; and a part of the mother liquor is taken out of the crystallizer and put into contact in, a gas liquid contactor, with a gas comprising carbon dioxide, in order to produce a second water suspension comprising sodium bicarbonate crystals, which are separated and valorized. A reagent powder comprising sodium bicarbonate crystals made by such process.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and systems for removing submicron particles from a gas stream, in particular from urea prilling off-gas, wherein a Venturi ejector is used. A method comprises contacting a gas stream containing submicron particles in a Venturi ejector with an injected high velocity scrubbing liquid to provide a pumping action, wherein the scrubbing liquid has an initial velocity of at least 25 m/s and wherein the ratio of scrubbing liquid and gas flow is between 0.0005 and 0.0015 (m3/h)/(m3/h).

摘要: A class of water lean, organic solvents that can bind with various acid gasses to form acid gas bound molecules having a high degree of intramolecular hydrogen bonding which enables their use as regenerable solvents for acid gas capture. Unlike the other devices described in the prior art, the present invention takes advantage of shortened distances between the portions of the molecule that form hydrogen bonds within the structures when loaded with an acid gas so as to create a molecule with a higher internal bonding affinity and a reduced proclivity for agglomeration with other molecules.

摘要: A process for processing plastic waste comprising converting plastic waste to hydrocarbon liquid and a first C1-4 gas; contacting hydrocarbon liquid with a first hydroprocessing catalyst in hydroprocessing unit to yield a second C1-4 gas and a first hydrocarbon product comprising C5+ liquid hydrocarbons; introducing the first hydrocarbon product to a first separating unit to produce treated hydrocarbon stream comprising C5-8 hydrocarbons and a first heavies stream comprising C9+ hydrocarbons; contacting the first heavies stream with a second hydroprocessing catalyst in hydrodealkylating unit to yield a second hydrocarbon product comprising C5+ liquid hydrocarbons and a third C1-4 gas; conveying the second hydrocarbon product to the first separating unit; feeding treated hydrocarbon stream to steam cracker to produce steam cracker product; separating steam cracker product into olefin gas, saturated hydrocarbons gas, aromatics, and a second heavies stream; and conveying the second heavies stream to hydroprocessing unit.
