摘要: In the present invention, an elastic resin material having a thermoplastic elastic resin is extruded into a sheet shape on a die and made to have a thickness that varies along the width direction, and then is cooled, to a temperature in which the elastic resin material elastically deforms, to form a sheet body that varies in thickness along the width direction, and a stretchable sheet is formed by laminating and joining base sheets. The sheet body includes at least two first and second regions adjacent to each other in the width direction, and the thicknesses of the second regions are greater than that of the first regions. In a wearable article, the stretchable sheet is disposed so that at least a portion of the second regions is closer to an opening around a body or an opening around a leg of the disposable wearable article than the first regions.

摘要: An integral geogrid includes a plurality of interconnected, oriented strands having an array of openings therein that is produced from a coextruded multilayer polymer sheet starting material. By virtue of the construction, the coextruded multilayer sheet components provide a crystalline synergistic effect during extrusion and orientation of the integral geogrid, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the integral geogrid in soil geosynthetic reinforcement.

摘要: An extruder system for rapid change between different melt strength polymers is provided. The extruder system includes at least three polymer extruders; a flow spool; and a multilayer feedblock including a first combining zone, a second combining zone, and at least one cartridge insert arrangement in each of the first combining zone and the second combining zone; where each cartridge insert arrangement is configured to receive a cartridge insert, the cartridge insert directing flow of a polymer from one of the polymer extruders. Also provided are method of forming an encapsulated coating with the extruder system and an encapsulate coating formed with the extruder system.

摘要: A method for producing a phase difference film is provided. The phase difference film includes an orientation layer formed of a resin C having a negative intrinsic birefringence value. The resin C contains a block copolymer having a block (A) including as a main component a polymerization unit A having a negative intrinsic birefringence value and a block (B) including as a main component a polymerization unit B, and a weight fraction of the block (A) therein being 50% by weight or more and 90% by weight or less. The phase difference film has an NZ factor of greater than 0 and smaller than 1. The method comprising: forming a single layer film of the resin C; and causing phase separation of the resin C in the film, which includes a step of applying to the film a stress along a thickness direction thereof.

摘要: A strip-shape softened resin sheet (S) which is continuously extruded from a molten resin extruder is cut to a unit resin sheet and a press molded product is manufactured by press-molding the unit resin sheet in a press-molding machine 20. Prior to press-molding the unit resin sheet (U) by the press-molding machine, the unit resin sheet (U) is heated by a heating machine 16. The heating machine 16 comprises a first heating furnace 84 and a second heating furnace 86. The first heating furnace 84 includes a series of heaters 84-3 and 84-4 whose heat source is infrared ray in a far-infrared region and the second heating furnace 86 includes a series of heaters 86-3 and 86-4 whose heat source is the infrared ray in a middle-infrared region. In the first furnace 84, the unit resin sheet (U) is continuously conveyed with a low velocity and is gradually heated by the far-infrared ray up to temperature which is slightly lower than the temperature which is suitable for press-molding the unit resin sheet (U). In the second furnace 86, the unit resin sheet (U) is stopped and is rapidly heated by the middle-infrared ray. By efficiently heating the unit resin sheet (U), a cycle time can be shortened and the production speed can be improved.

摘要: One or more embodiments of the present invention provide a method for applying a dual compound coextruded continuous strip of a first compound and a second compound, the method comprising a first extruder for processing a first compound and a second extruder for processing a second compound, wherein the outlet from the first extruder is in fluid communication with a first channel of a housing, and the outlet from the second extruder is in fluid communication with a second channel of the housing, wherein a gear pump is positioned in each channel, wherein a nozzle is in fluid communication with an outlet of the first channel and an outlet of the second channel, and a coextruded continuous strip is produced. The ratio of the first compound to the second compound may be adjusted instantaneously.

摘要: A slot die assembly for dispensing a fluid onto an article includes an adapter body, a shim package and a die plate. The adapter body includes an adapter conduit configured to receive a fluid. The shim package includes a plurality of shim plates having a shim conduit disposed in fluid communication with the adapter conduit and configured to receive the fluid from the adapter conduit. The shim package further includes a connecting conduit disposed in fluid communication with the shim conduit, a reservoir disposed in fluid communication with the connecting conduit, and a slot disposed in fluid communication with the reservoir. The slot is configured to dispense the fluid onto an article. The die plate is disposed in abutting relationship to the shim package.
