Abstract: An integral geogrid includes a plurality of interconnected, oriented strands having an array of openings therein that is produced from a coextruded multilayer polymer sheet starting material. By virtue of the construction, the coextruded multilayer sheet components provide a crystalline synergistic effect during extrusion and orientation of the integral geogrid, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the integral geogrid in soil geosyuthetic reinforcement.

Abstract: A manifold plate for a manifold for supplying thermoplastic plastic melt to at least one extrusion head for producing a preform is disclosed. The manifold plate includes: a first plate side and a second plate side, a distribution groove incorporated in the first plate side and extending in a plate plane of the first plate side, and at least one connecting channel adjoining the distribution groove, which is worked into the manifold plate and ends at an outlet opening in the second plate side. The manifold plate is characterized in that the at least one connecting channel is milled into the manifold plate and, in the flow direction, has a course which is curved at least in sections towards the second plate side. A manifold, an extrusion assembly and a method for manufacturing a manifold plate are also disclosed.

Abstract: Provided is a head for a multi-layer extrusion device which can be easily and accurately adjusted to a change in size of an extruder and a change in extrusion shape. A head 1 for a multi-layer extrusion device is provided with a plurality of flow paths for separately guiding elastomer materials G from a plurality of extruders 2 to a pre-former attachment unit. The head 1 comprises: a main head 10 to which each extruder 2 is connected; an upper head part 11 positioned above the main head 10; and a lower head part 12 positioned below the main head 10. The plurality of extruders 2 include a first extruder 5 and a second extruder 6. The main head 10 is detachably divided into at least: a first head part 15 to which the first extruder 5 is connected; a second head part 16 to which the second extruder 6 is connected; a third head part 17 connected to the first head part 15 on the downstream side of the first head part 15; and a fourth head part 18 connected to the second head part 16 on the downstream side of the second head part 16.

Abstract: FDisclosed herein are compositions including a thermoformable sheet having three of more layers. Two layers include one or more monovinylidene aromatic monomer containing polymers which are impact modified by a rubber, one or more monovinylidene aromatic monomer and unsaturated nitrile containing copolymers, or a blend of one or more monovinylidene aromatic monomer containing polymers and a polyolefin, which exhibit resistance to environmental stress cracking. At least one of the two layers is an outer layer. An inner layer includes post-consumer recycled monovinylidene aromatic monomer containing polymers which are impact modified by a rubber, post-industrial recycled monovinylidene aromatic monomer containing polymers which are impact modified by a rubber. Optionally, the composition may include virgin monovinylidene aromatic monomer containing polymers which are impact modified by a rubber. Optionally, the composition may include an outer layer which is a gloss layer.

Abstract: Equipment of forming layering structure of plastic flooring contains: a co-extrusion unit, a first rolling mechanism, a second rolling mechanism, and a roller unit. The co-extrusion unit includes a first extruder, a second extruder, a third extruder, and a material distributor. A respective one of multiple guide tubes is defined between an opening of each of the first, second, third extruders and the material distributor, and the material distributor has multiple conduits configured to gather melted plastic materials from the first, second, third extruders, and a substrate is extrusion molded from a supply head of the material distributor. The roller unit is mounted on a support frame and includes a first delivery roller, a second delivery roller, a contact roller, two pattern rollers, a first guide roller, a second guide roller, and a third guide roller which are arranged along a horizontal direction of the support frame.
