摘要: A drive system for an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) including an electric motor; a gearbox; four wheel and tire assemblies; a battery; a control module; and a throttle device; the electric motor is electrically connected to, and configured to receive at least a first signal from the control module; the control module is electrically connected to, and configured to receive a charge from the battery; and the throttle device is electrically connected to, and configured to send a second signal to the control module; the electric motor is rotationally connected to the gearbox, wherein at least one drive shaft is rotationally coupled to the gearbox to rotationally connect the gearbox to the four wheel and tire assemblies.

摘要: A two wheeled throwable robot comprises an elongate chassis with two ends, a motor at each end, drive wheels connected to the motors, and a tail extending from the elongate chassis. The throwable robot includes a pair of torque limiting mechanisms, each torque limiting mechanism being operatively coupled between a motor and a drive wheel. Each torque limiting mechanism comprises a drive flange portion, a driven flange portion and a plurality of rollers. A spring element provides a ring force that biases the rollers toward the driven flange portion.

Further, the power control unit is separate from the noise filter, and the noise filter is integrated with the transaxle case in a state in which at least a part of the noise filter is disposed in space between the power control unit and the motor.

摘要: A transmission system for a vehicle includes a first helical pinion gear having a helix angle coupled to a first shaft and configured to receive an input torque. The transmission system includes a second helical pinion gear having a first helix angle coupled to a second shaft and configured to receive the input torque. The second shaft is disposed within the first shaft and rotatable within the first shaft. The transmission system includes a differential assembly having a third helical gear having the first helix angle coupled to the first helical pinion gear, and a fourth helical gear having the helix angle coupled to the second helical pinion gear. The third helical gear and the fourth helical gear are coupled to a differential gear set to drive a first output shaft and a second output shaft associated with the vehicle.

摘要: An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a battery pack, an electromagnetic device, an engine, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack, operate the electromagnetic device using stored energy in the battery pack to provide a performance condition including (i) accelerating the electrified fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time, and start and operate the engine in response to a start condition to facilitate reserving sufficient stored energy in the battery pack such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate the performance condition. The acceleration time is 30 second or less. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least 3 minutes.

摘要: An electric axle assembly having dual motors and dual disconnects allowing for selectably disconnecting either one of the motors so that either motor may operate as the primary drive motor. Each of the dual motors is coupled to a layshaft, and each disconnect is positioned between a gear reduction at the output of the motor and a gear reduction connected to the layshaft. The layshaft is coupled to a differential via a clutch and gear set, the gear set providing a two-speed transmission for power delivered from the layshaft to the differential.
