    摘要: The present disclosure provides brush-poly(glycoamidoamine)-lipids (PGALs) (e.g., polymers of any one of Formulae (I)-(IV)) and methods of preparing the PGALs. A described PGAL may include poly(glycoamidoamine)-derived moieties (e.g., such as which may assist the PGAL and/or a complex of the PGAL and an agent to pass through cell membranes or be taken up by cells. Also provided are compositions including a described PGAL and an agent (e.g., polynucleotide, small molecule, peptide, or protein).     摘要: A process for preparing crosslinked poly .beta.-alanine in the form of microspheres comprises (a) polymerizing acrylamide in a tert. butanol/toluene solvent mixture in the presence of a polymerization initiator and an octadecene-maleic anhydride copolymer as a suspension agent; (b) submitting the resulting suspension of poly .beta.-alanine to a crosslinking reaction using a dialdehyde as the crosslinking agent; and (c) isolating the crosslinked poly .beta.-alanine microspheres. These microspheres exhibit a low size dispersity.

    摘要: Polyamide membranes of desired thickness are prepared by dissolving polyamide in HCl, admixing paraformaldehyde and then zinc chloride to produce a viscous paste, forming expanded gelatinous material by treatment with formaldehyde, curing this material and applying tensile stress thereto. Rigid, water insoluble, polyamide foam material is prepared by treating polyamide with concentrated solution of zinc chloride in HCl to make a gum-like solid and supernatant liquid, admixing 1,3,5trioxane and the gum-like solid to make a homogeneous, light, and flowable paste which is then cured in a suitable mold at atmospheric conditions, preferably in the presence of weakly acidic water. The membranes are useful, e.g., for bandages and the nylon foam is useful, e.g., as a construction material, for trays, containers, etc.
