摘要: An assembly is provided that includes a rotating structure, a bearing, a sensor system, a power system and a controller. The rotating structure is rotatable about an axis. The bearing rotatably supports the rotating structure. The bearing includes a magnetic bearing stator and a magnetic bearing rotor mounted with the rotating structure. The sensor system is configured to provide bearing sensor data indicative of a position of the magnetic bearing rotor relative to the magnetic bearing stator. The power system is electrically coupled to the magnetic bearing stator. The controller is configured to signal the power system to power the magnetic bearing stator based on the bearing sensor data. The controller is configured to monitor health of the rotating structure based on the bearing sensor data.

摘要: A magnetic bearing device and a vacuum pump configured to measure with high sensitivity a natural vibration mode of a rotating body in a floating system using a magnetic bearing. The natural vibration to be measured is a bending mode of the rotating body, a natural vibration mode of the rotor blades, a vibration mode associated with the stator, and a rigid body mode of the rotating body. The natural vibration may be computed by a central processing unit (CPU) of a control device or may be computed externally. In this manner, the natural vibration mode can be detected with high sensitivity.

The bearing system rotatably supports the first rotating structure. The bearing system includes an active magnetic bearing and a foil bearing.

摘要: There is provided a controller for magnetic levitation equipment comprising a plurality of current source modules for connecting to at least one power supply for direct current, DC, and said current source modules comprising current channels for actuating coils of the magnetic levitation equipment, and a controller device connected to the current source modules by a control connection for controlling switching of electric current by the current source modules to the current channels. The current source modules combine discrete components for amplifying and switching electric current to the current channels into a single package. In this way, manufacturing and maintenance of the controller is facilitated, since manufacturing and maintenance may be based on the current source modules instead of discrete components, e.g. gate drivers, IGBTs, power mosfets and diodes.

摘要: An electromagnet unit in which influence of a noise on a displacement sensor is suppressed and which can be installed in a space-saving manner and a vacuum pump including the electromagnet unit are provided. An electromagnet unit includes a radial electromagnet which controls a shaft to a predetermined position, a radial sensor which detects a position of the shaft, and a printed board interposed between the radial electromagnet and the radial sensor and on which a wiring pattern for sensor connecting coils of the corresponding two radial sensors to each other and a wiring pattern connecting coils of the corresponding two radial electromagnets to each other are provided. The wiring pattern for sensor and the wiring pattern for electromagnet are disposed so as not to overlap when seen from the axial direction.

摘要: During rotation of a shaft of a downhole-type wellbore system, a first signal corresponding to an axial position of the rotating shaft is transmitted by a sensor. The shaft is axially levitated by a plurality of magnetic thrust bearings. A controller determines an amount of axial force to apply to the rotating shaft to maintain axial levitation of the rotating shaft based on the first signal. The controller transmits a second signal corresponding to the determined amount of axial force to the plurality of magnetic thrust bearings. The plurality of magnetic thrust bearings applies the amount of axial force on the rotating shaft to maintain the axial levitation of the rotating shaft based on the second signal.
