    摘要: An apparatus for coupling to a fluid delivery system and for receiving a fluid into the apparatus; a portion of the apparatus permitting a change in shape or size to accommodate the fluid volume or pressure received therein. The apparatus including a housing with a cavity, an expandable reservoir with an opening and a passage, and a cap; the expandable reservoir positioned within the cavity and coupled to a fluid source. The expandable reservoir includes an unrestrained orientation when a fluid volume or pressure therein is below a threshold, and an expanded orientation, when the fluid volume or pressure therein is above the threshold; the expandable reservoir moving toward the expanded orientation to accommodate a fluid volume or pressure received through an opening, and the expandable reservoir moving toward the unrestrained orientation to direct a fluid volume or pressure through an opening.

    摘要: A hydraulic capacity having a hollow body (2) made of a rubber material and a rigid body (3) which surrounds the hollow body (2) to limit the expansion of the hollow body (2). The hydraulic capacity containing at each instant an instantaneous volume (V) of fluid to which an instantaneous pressure is applied as a function of the instantaneous volume (V). The hollow body (2) has a wall (21) which is simultaneously in contact with the casing (3) and at least via of a first zone (Z1) and a second zone (Z2). The first zone (Z1) has a first thickness (E1) and the second zone (Z2) has a second thickness (E2) which are separated from each other by a third zone (Z3) having a third thickness (E3). The third zone (Z3) being separated from the casing (3) and the third thickness (E3) being different than the first (E1) and second (E2) thickness such that an instantaneous pressure (P) of the fluid is controlled according to a predefined relationship.

    摘要: A diaphragm type flow regulator has an electrically operated bleed valve to control fluid signal pressure in a chamber on one side of the diaphragm. A valve member mounted on the opposite side of the diaphragm is moved, in response to the difference in pressure between the signal chamber and a flow regulating chamber, with respect to a valve seat for controlling flow of a compressible fluid between an inlet and outlet in the flow regulating chamber. An auxiliary chamber communicates with the flow regulating chamber through a restricting orifice which function to dampen or attenuate diaphragm vibration caused by pressure pulses or transients which may occur in the fluid supply conduit. In one arrangement the auxiliary chamber is formed as part of the regulator housing. In other arrangements, the auxiliary chamber is formed as part of a separate fitting attached to the regulator flow regulating chamber inlet.

    摘要: A pulsation damper and noise attenuator assembly comprising a housing having an inlet port and an outlet port fluidly connecting the interior of the housing to the flow path of the fluid flow system. A base is mounted to the housing and comprises a vent fluidly connecting the interior of the housing to an external fluid source. A sealing member such as an expandable bellows or piston is seated within the housing and creates a fluid tight seal between the fluid flow path and the external fluid source sealing member. The external fluid biases the sealing member in a forward direction. The sealing member acting against the N.sub.2 fluid under pressure absorbs the full force of the hydraulic shock waves or pulsation within a high pressure fluid flow system as the assembly is mounted directly within the flow path of the fluid. The shock wave is exposed across the full face of the sealing member and dampened prior to the fluid continuing along the flow path.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a surge bottle or pulsation dampening device for cryogenic services which comprises three sections: a liquid sump section comprised of an enclosed area containing a volume of an incompressible fluid; a warm gas volume section comprised of an enclosed area containing a volume of a compressible warm gas; and a laminar flow section which connects and allows for communication between the liquid sump section and the warm gas volume section. The laminar flow section is comprised of a number of small bore, thin walled tubes which contain the incompressible fluid in the end connected to the liquid sump section and the compressible warm gas in the end connected to the warm gas volume section. The bore of the tubes in the laminar flow section are such that any movement of either the compressible warm gas or the incompressible fluid in the tubes would be laminar.
