摘要: A steam generating system includes a furnace, a nozzle tip assembly for pulverized coal and primary air as well as means for conveying secondary air in the furnace. The nozzle according to the invention comprises a nozzle body (3) and several channels (5) being connected with the nozzle body, the channels are diverging from each other. At the exit faces (17) of the channels obstructions (13) are disposed to induce huge turbulences of the primary air when entering the furnace. Due to these turbulences the primary air and the entrained coal are mixed very well before being combusted in the furnace. This results in a better more effective combustion with reduced NOx-emissions.

摘要: A method of operating a combustion burner to heat a furnace. Fuel and combustion air are supplied into a combustion zone and ignited. Additional combustion air is supplied into the atmosphere outside of the combustion zone. The amount of additional combustion air supplied outside of the combustion zone is decreased as a temperature of the atmosphere inside the furnace increases such that the content of nitrogen oxides (NOx), as corrected for 3% O2 (cNOx (3% O2)), in the gases generated by combustion of the fuel and the combustion air and emitted from the furnace maintained below a predetermined value.

摘要: A combustion apparatus includes a burner and a heat shield plate. The heat shield plate includes a main plate portion located on a lateral side of a flame formation region above the burner to erect, a stepped portion protruding from a lower end of the main plate portion toward the burner and set at approximately the same height as that of a flame hole surface of the burner, and air passage holes provided in the stepped portion. The main plate portion is provided with a facing wall portion which protrudes from a middle part of the main plate portion in a vertical height direction thereof toward the flame formation region and faces the air passage holes so as to be subjected to a collision with air travelling upward from the air passage holes. This configuration allows the heat shield plate to be properly cooled/protected, while reducing consumed air.

摘要: A fuel combustion system comprises a discharge nozzle with concentric fuel and air orifices. A fuel conduit is coupled to each fuel orifice for supplying liquid fuel thereto. An air conduit is coupled to each air orifice for supplying air thereto. The fuel and the pressurized air only mixing with one another, upon being discharged from the respective fuel and air orifices, to form a fuel mixture. A supplemental air source supplies supplement air to facilitate combustion. An air deflector sleeve at least partially surrounds and accommodates the at least one discharge nozzle and a cylindrical blast tube surrounding the air deflector sleeve and an outlet end of the cylindrical blast tube supports a flame retention head. The flame retention head redirects the supplement air radially inward, through openings in the air deflector sleeve and the flame retention head, to assist with combustion of the fuel mixture.

摘要: A combustion chamber may include a first surface and a second surface interconnected by a wall forming a chamber having a central axis. The first surface may define an exhaust opening and the second surface defining a pilot opening, wherein the exhaust opening and the pilot opening align along the central axis. A plurality of inlet ports may be configured to deliver air to the chamber. A plurality of fuel ports may be arranged on an inside of the second surface to deliver fuel to the chamber. The air flow from the inlet ports and fuel from the fuel ports may oppose each other to create a vortex of product proximal to the second surface.

摘要: The present invention provides a burner combustion method for supplying and combusting an oxidant stream and a fuel stream, wherein the oxidant stream is composed of a primary oxidant stream jetted from around the periphery of the fuel stream or from a position near the fuel stream, and a plurality of secondary oxidant streams, and by periodically changing the flow rate of at least one of the primary oxidant stream and the plurality of secondary oxidant streams, and also causing a periodic change in the oxygen concentration within the oxidant stream, causing a periodic change in the oxygen ratio which is calculated by dividing the supplied amount of oxygen, supplied by the oxidant stream, by the theoretically required amount of oxygen, and providing a difference between the periodic changes in the oxygen concentration and the oxygen ratio, the combustion state adopts a periodic oscillating state.

The combustion chamber is provided with a plurality of combustion devices, the combustion devices being configured to deliver fuel and gas and/or air into the combustion chamber so as to generate a fireball within a combustion zone in the combustion chamber, the combustion devices further being configured such that the generated fireball rotates about an axis extending between the base and the flue duct. A secondary gas and/or air nozzle is provided in the base of the combustion chamber, at a location upstream of the combustion zone, the nozzle being for delivering gas and/or air into the combustion zone in a direction towards the flue duct.
