摘要: The present disclosure provides a smart automatic frequency control (AFC) apparatus, including: a phase shift module, connected to a first signal input terminal and configured to: receive an incident wave from the first signal input terminal, perform a phase shift on the incident wave according to a phase shift parameter so as to generate a phase-shifted signal, and output the phase-shifted signal to a phase detection module; and the phase detection module, connected to the phase shift module and a second signal input terminal and configured to: receive a reflected wave from the second signal input terminal, perform a phase detection on the phase-shifted signal and the reflected wave so as to generate a phase difference signal, and output the phase difference signal via a control interface.

摘要: A radar apparatus (1) of the present embodiment includes a transmitting unit (12) that transmits a frequency chirp signal whose frequency linearly changes with time, a receiving unit (13) that receives a reflected wave that is the frequency chirp signal reflected by an object, a mixer (14) that mixes the transmitted frequency chirp signal and the received reflected wave to obtain a beat signal, a frequency estimation unit (15) that estimates a frequency of the beat signal, and a distance estimation unit (16) that estimates a distance to the object based on the frequency of the beat signal. The frequency estimation unit (15) calculates an autoregressive coefficient of an autoregressive model from a sequence of discrete signal values of the beat signal and estimates the frequency of the beat signal using a base frequency that is based on a pole of the autoregressive model.

摘要: Example embodiments describe a radar sensor, whereby the radar sensor comprises a pair of continuous wave (CW) radar transceivers that each has a leaky wave antenna that are provided adjacent to each other. Each CW radar transceiver comprises a microwave frequency transmission circuit configured to transmit and receive signals reflected off a nearby object. The transmitted and received signals are then processed by the radar sensor to determine a relative displacement between the detected object and the radar sensor. This determined relative displacement may then be used with machine learning techniques to identify dynamic gestures made within the radar sensor's range of detection.

摘要: To address the issues of handling conversations with multiple users, an intelligent digital assistant system is provided. The system may include at least one microphone configured to receive an audio input, a speaker configured to emit an audio output, and a processor. The processor may be configured engage in a conversation with a first user, and, concurrent with the first user being engaged in the conversation with the system, recognize speech of one or more additional users in the audio input. The processor may process the recognized speech of the one or more additional users to determine a context for each additional user, and execute a conversation disentanglement module to select and perform one or more predetermined conversation disentanglement actions according to the context of the recognized speech of each additional user.

摘要: Electronic devices and methods to provide wireless ranging are shown. A first electronic device includes a memory containing stored instructions that can perform a method for determining a distance between the first electronic device and a second electronic device. For each frequency in a selected set of frequencies, the method sets the transceiver to the respective frequency, sends a first tone having the frequency and a first phase to the second electronic device and receives a second tone having the first frequency and a second phase. For each selected frequency, the first electronic device determines the phase difference between the second tone and the controllable oscillator, receives a phase difference from the second electronic device, and calculates a phase delay for the frequency. The first electronic device calculates a phase delay difference for pairs of the frequencies; and determines the distance using these phase delay differences.

摘要: A system is provided for resolving ambiguity in a phase measurement used in a distance estimation for an object. The system includes a transmitter for transmitting RF signals from an object location. The system includes measurement equipment for receiving the transmitted RF signals as corresponding received RF signals and measuring a plurality of phases at different frequencies between the transmitted RF signals and the corresponding received RF signals. The system includes a processor. The processor is configured to calculate normalized phases from the plurality of measured phases. The processor is configured to perform an intra-frequency ambiguity resolution process that resolves an ambiguity for the normalized phases for a single frequency using an ambiguity factor. The processor is configured to perform an inter-frequency ambiguity resolution process that resolves an ambiguity for the normalized phases across multiple tones using a characteristic curve to provide a resolved phase measurement for the distance estimation.

摘要: Disclosed is a method, system, and apparatus for transmitting a randomly phase-coded CW waveform in a manner that suppresses signal leakage and enables the recovery of polyphase subcodes advantageous for the purposes of correlation and pulse compression. The CW system transmits and receives a random waveform while concurrently providing properly delayed phase conversion parameters (ϕi−Θi) from a corrections generator to various range gates. Each range gate processes any echo returns using a most recent phase conversion parameters (ϕk−Θk) provided and correlation of the resulting echo subcodes ϕR produce either target indications or noise signals, depending on the most recent phase conversion parameters (ϕk−Θk) provided to the range gate. The system may transmit the randomly phase-coded CW waveform while recovering any phase code {ϕ1, ϕ2, . . . ϕN} that lends itself to advantageous pulse compressions.
