摘要: A cylindrical battery cell, a battery and a method for forming cylindrical battery cell are provided. In the cylindrical battery cell, a copper plate is forged with the cell housing to form a bi-metal plate on the bottom side of the cell housing, and the copper plate is welded with the jellyroll structure. Therefore, joining/welding the cell housing with the jellyroll structure is achieved by using a laser from outside of the cell housing, while risk of corrosion of cell housing is not introduced.

摘要: A current collection foil (for example, a positive electrode current collection layer) of an electrode includes a current collection section joined with an active material and wound and a plurality of terminal sections provided at a side edge extending in a winding direction of the current collection section. The terminal sections adjacent to one another in the winding direction include the terminal sections formed with relatively longer intervals on a side close to another end portion at a winding end than a side close to one end portion at a winding start of the current collection section. The plurality of terminal sections overlap in a state in which the current collection section is wound. At least one of the terminal sections and the current collection section 11a includes a mark for distinguishing any one terminal section of the current collection section and the other terminal sections.

摘要: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly including a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode alternately stacked and wound about a central axis. A first non-coating portion that is not coated with an electrode active material protrudes farther than the separator in a first direction along the central axis and a second non-coating portion that is not coated with the electrode active material protrudes farther than the separator in a second, opposite direction along the central axis. The first non-coating portion contacts a first connection part disposed on an end of a first can of the battery, and the second non-coating portion contacts a second connection part disposed on an end of a second can. At least one of the first connection part or the second connection part comprises a protrusion having a shape protruding towards the electrode assembly.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a top compression plate, a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing a secondary battery. The secondary battery includes a cap plate; an electrode terminal disposed on the cap plate; an electrode assembly which comprises a main body and a tab connected to the main body, wherein the tab is connected to the electrode terminal; an insulating member disposed between the cap plate and the main body, wherein the insulating member comprises a connecting protrusion extending toward the main body; and a top compression plate disposed between the insulating member and the main body. The top compression plate comprises a first surface facing the main body and a mounting hole mating with the connecting protrusion, and a top end surface of the connecting protrusion does not exceed the first surface.

An insulation member is provided between the second current collecting plate and the bottom portion of the battery can.

摘要: A lithium battery cell with an internal fuse component and including needed tabs which allow for conductance from the internal portion thereof externally to power a subject device is provided. Disclosed herein are tabs that exhibit sufficient safety levels in combination with the internal fuse characteristics noted above while simultaneously displaying pull strength to remain in place during utilization as well as complete coverage with the thin film metallized current collectors for such an electrical conductivity result. Such tabs are further provided with effective welds for the necessary contacts and at levels that exhibit surprising levels of amperage and temperature resistance to achieve the basic internal fuse result with the aforementioned sufficient conductance to an external device. With such a tab lead component and welded structure, a further improvement within the lithium battery art is provided the industry.
