摘要: A method is disclosed of a wireless receiver configured for spatial selective reception. The method is for mitigation of an interfering signal leaked into a frequency range of a desired signal due to non-linearity of hardware components of the receiver.
The method comprises receiving a composite signal comprising the desired signal and the interfering signal, filtering the composite signal using a spatial filter for a channel response of the desired signal to provide a first intermediate signal component, and filtering the composite signal using a spatial filter for a channel response of the interfering signal to provide a second intermediate signal component.
The method also comprises estimating a squared amplitude of the interfering signal based on the second intermediate signal component and a model of the non-linearity, and estimating the desired signal based on the first intermediate signal component, the estimated squared amplitude of the interfering signal, and the model of the non-linearity.
Corresponding apparatus, wireless receiver, wireless communication device and computer program product are also disclosed.-

摘要: The invention relates to a method, a circuit, and an apparatus for detecting distortion in spread spectrum signals. An edge in a spread spectrum clock signal is identified based on a reference clock signal. The edge data is then provided to a set of counters which are incremented corresponding to an identified edge. Each bit of a respective output of the counters are provided to a respective OR gate of a set of OR gates. An OR gate from the set of OR gates corresponding to a selected bit then outputs an indication of whether distortion exists in the spread spectrum clock signal.

When the communication apparatus has determined a schedule for communicating with a first other communication apparatus, in a case of the second communication with a second other communication apparatus different to the first other communication apparatus, the communication apparatus determines a schedule for communicating with the second other communication apparatus so that a period for the second communication with the first other communication apparatus and a period for the second communication with the second other communication apparatus at least partially overlap.

摘要: In a wireless communication method, base stations having an identical number of channels for receiving narrowband modulation (UNB) are divided into groups. Data transmission channels of all base stations have identical time and frequency characteristics. All subscribers split into groups are periodically sent messages with subscriber group numbers by all the base stations. When a group number of a corresponding subscriber coincides with a group number in a message received by the subscriber, all the subscribers of the group send response messages to the base stations using UNB, wherein response messages are sent sequentially from all subgroups of subscribers of the group, and subscribers of a subgroup send response messages on different frequencies. The base stations receive the response messages on all frequencies corresponding to subscribers, decode the messages and generate a database of response messages, which can be used for generating subsequent messages with corresponding subscriber group numbers.

摘要: A frequency hopping continuous wave (FHCW) radar system which utilizes a one-coincidence sequence to create a form of FH multiplexing to allow discerning returning signals from interference. An EHC code generator sends codes to an FH waveform generator coupled to a transmitter. A receiver outputs a received signal to a correlator which correlates received signal with a delayed transmitted signal, and sends results for digital signal processing to determine target range and velocity. Use of the one-coincidence sequence provides for the interference level to be well managed and below the radar return signal; assuring that the returning radar signals can be discerned from interference.

摘要: A method for calibrating a radiofrequency multichannel subsystem of a telecommunications payload includes a step of generating and injecting a calibration signal at one or more input access channel injection points; a step of tapping off the injected and propagated calibration signal at tapping-off points of an access channel at output; and then a step of estimating the amplitude and/or phase differences between the internal channels of the multichannel subsystem on the basis of the calibration signal injected at input, serving as a reference, and of the extracted calibration signal or signals; and then a step of correcting the amplitude and/or phase differences by way of correction means. The injected calibration signal is a chirp signal, formed of a chirp or of a sequence of at least two identical chirps. A calibration system implements the calibration method.
