摘要: A system and method for assisting selective hearing includes a detector for detecting an audio source signal portion of one or more audio sources by using at least two received microphone signals of a hearing environment. A position determiner allocates position information to each of the one or more audio sources. An audio type classifier assigns an audio source signal type to the audio source signal portion of each of the one or more audio sources. A signal portion modifier varies the audio source signal portion of at least one audio source of the one or more audio sources depending on the audio signal type of the audio source signal portion of the at least one audio source so as to obtain a modified audio signal portion of the at least one audio source. The system includes a signal generator.

摘要: Example techniques involve calibration of one or more playback devices. An example implementation involves a playback device playing back audio content using a first calibration via the one or more audio transducers and the one or more amplifiers. The first calibration is based on a response of a listening environment to audio content playback by the playback device. The playback device records, via one or more microphones, at least a portion of the played back audio content. Based on the recorded audio content, the playback device detects a change in the response of the listening environment to audio content playback by the playback device. Responsive to detecting the change in the response, the playback device causes output of a prompt to initiate a calibration procedure for the playback device. The calibration procedure involves a mobile device recording playback by the playback device.

摘要: A processing system includes methods to promote sleep. The system may include a monitor such as a non-contact motion sensor from which sleep information may be determined. User sleep information, such as sleep stages, hypnograms, sleep scores, mind recharge scores and body scores, may be recorded, evaluated and/or displayed for a user. The system may further monitor ambient and/or environmental conditions corresponding to sleep sessions. Sleep advice may be generated based on the sleep information, user queries and/or environmental conditions from one or more sleep sessions. Communicated sleep advice may include content to promote good sleep habits and/or detect risky sleep conditions. In some versions of the system, any one or more of a bedside unit 3000 sensor module, a smart processing device, such as a smart phone or smart device 3002, and network servers may be implemented to perform the methodologies of the system.

摘要: A device includes one or more processors configured to receive, via wireless transmission from a playback device, data associated with a pose of the playback device. The one or more processors are also configured to select, based on the data, a particular representation of a sound field from a plurality of representations of the sound field. Each respective representation of the sound field corresponds to a different sector of a set of sectors. A sector represents a range of values associated with movement of the playback device. The one or more processors are further configured to generate audio data corresponding to the selected representation of the sound field. one or more processors are also configured to send, via wireless transmission, the audio data as streaming data to the playback device.
