摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for client steering in mesh networks are disclosed. A first access point (AP) of a network sends a quality of service (QoS) data packet to a client device. A received signal strength indication (RSSI) of the client device is captured using the QoS data packet. A distance between the AP and client device is determined using a Wi-Fi round trip time. A time and day of week is determined. Using machine learning, a second AP is identified for steering the client device to, based on the RSSI, the distance, and the time and day of week. A machine learning model is trained to steer each client device to a respective AP for increasing a throughput of the network based on features extracted from client behavior of the client devices. The second AP is connected to the client device.

摘要: An aspect provides a method by user plane function (UPF) in a core network (CN) of a communication network for registering the UPF at a network repository function (NRF) of the CN. The UPF is to selectively route uplink data traffic in one or more data sessions from a user equipment (UE) to one of a plurality of session anchor network functions (NFs). The method by the UPF comprises sending (1701) a registration request to the NRF. The registration request comprises registration information comprising an indication of a type of filter supported by the UPF to selectively route uplink data traffic from a UE to a particular session anchor NF. The type of filter relates to an application identity; and an indication of a value for the indicated type of filter.

The device may generate an active queue management mapping table based on utilizing a model to process the explicit congestion notification data and the network data. The device may determine, based on the active queue management mapping table and the network data, a routing table that includes routing data identifying traffic paths with active queue management enabled network devices and without non-active queue management enabled network devices of the network devices. The device may provide the routing table to the network devices.

摘要: During authentication of an SDWAN tunnel, Intent ISAKMP packets authenticate the local SDWAN controller and the remote SDWAN controller with each other, wherein the ISAKMP packets include a notify payload. Configured link costs associated with at least two member paths at the remote SDWAN controller that have heterogeneous physical attributes from the notify payload of the ISAKMP packets are retrieved. The configured link-cost of the at least two member paths is reflective of link physical attributes. One of the at least two member paths is identified based on a lowest link-cost between the at least two member paths, for steering SDWAN network traffic.

摘要: Systems and methods of reducing control plane latency in a 5G IAB network are described. SRs transmitted between nodes indicate that a control plane PDU is to be transmitted. The SRs use periodic resources or OCCs reserved for control plane signaling and are initiated by an RRC message or RACH from the UE. The SRs are initiated if the LCD field in the MAC sub header of the RRC message indicates the CCCH or the DCCH logical channel. If the PDU is available after the original resource, a resource is used that is provided via another grant, which is periodically provided or automatically initiated due to failure to transmit on the original grant. The SR or RRC message can also specify a delayed timeslot for the grant. For contention-based procedures the RACH preamble is randomly selected or selected from among a set of RACH preambles assigned for RRC procedures.
