Abstract: A droplet delivery device includes a housing with a mouthpiece port or outlet from a nasal device for releasing fluid droplets, a fluid reservoir, and an ejector bracket having a membrane positioned between a mesh with a plurality of openings and a vibrating member that is coupled to an electronic transducer, such as an ultrasonic transducer. The transducer vibrates the vibrating member which causes the membrane to push fluid supplied by the reservoir through the mesh to generate droplets in an ejected stream released through the outlet.

Abstract: A portable vaporizing apparatus for inhalation therapy and method of operation of the portable vaporizing apparatus are disclosed. The portable vaporizing apparatus includes a liquid cartridge comprising therapeutic substance, and ultrasonic activating tip removably coupled to proximal end of liquid cartridge. Furthermore, portable vaporizing apparatus includes mouthpiece having airflow outlet removably coupled to outer edge of proximal end of liquid cartridge. Thereafter, portable vaporizing apparatus includes power source removably coupled to distal end of liquid cartridge. The portable vaporizing apparatus receives ambient air via mouthpiece and power from power source to liquid cartridge. Further, portable vaporizing apparatus agitates ultrasonic waves in ultrasonic activating tip using received power. Furthermore, portable vaporizing apparatus vaporizes therapeutic substance comprised in liquid cartridge, based on agitated ultrasonic waves and ambient air. Also, portable vaporizing apparatus creates aerosol from vaporized therapeutic substance, to pass into mouthpiece for breathing into airway of user.

Abstract: A vaporizer device may include a vaporizer body configured to couple with at least one vaporizer cartridge including a first reservoir and a second reservoir. The vaporizer device may include a first aerosol generation mechanism configured to generate a first part of an aerosol by at least vaporizing a first aerosol component present in a first vaporizable material in the first reservoir. The vaporizer device may also include a second aerosol generation mechanism configured to generate a second part of the aerosol by vaporizing a first aerosol component present in a second vaporizable material at a second temperature. The first part of the aerosol and the second part of the aerosol may be delivered, via a mouthpiece, to a user of the vaporizer device.

Abstract: A mist inhaler device (200) for generating a mist for inhalation by a user comprises a mist generator device (201) and a driver device (202). The driver device (202) is configured to drive the mist generator device (201) at an optimum frequency to maximise the efficiency of mist generation by the mist generator device (201). A liquid drug such as nicotine, a protein solution, or a medical suspension is transformed into mist by sonification using an ultrasonic transducer 215 which has a planar atomisation surface parallel to the longitudinal length of the mist generator housing. A capillary element 222 extends between a liquid chamber and the sonification chamber, and is retained by the transducer holder (210) such that a part of the capillary element is superimposed on the atomisation surface of the ultrasonic transducer.

The control signal communication may include a visual, optical, or light signal that is detected by a light sensor or photodiode on the device.
