A glass structure and a method for creating the glass structure include a glass carrier layer and a flexible glass substrate. The glass structure includes an intermediate layer at least temporarily bonding the flexible glass substrate to the glass carrier layer. The intermediate layer includes a first debond layer attached to an adhesion layer. The first debond layer is at least partially resistant to a high temperature processing of the glass structure at a temperature of greater than or equal to about 500° C. The first debond layer is configured to enable the flexible glass substrate to be debonded from the glass carrier layer after the high temperature processing of the glass structure. A method for processing the glass structure includes debonding the flexible glass substrate from the glass carrier layer after the high temperature process.

In seismic survey for icy waters, streamers are towed behind a vessel under the water's surface to avoid ice. GPS readings may not be consistently obtained because the ice prevents a tail buoy with a GPS receiver from trailing from streamer at the surface. Instead, a device tows on the streamer under the water's surface. The streamer's absolute position is tracked by intermittently bringing the towed device toward the surface so GPS readings can be obtained. The streamer's absolute position can then be used in conjunction with compass readings and can correlate various seismic sensor signals obtained along the streamer during the survey. The compass readings can be corrected for declination using declinometer readings, which can be compensated for iron effects from the vessel or other device carrying the declinometer.

The invention described herein is directed towards spin-on carbon materials comprising polyamic acid compositions and a crosslinker in a solvent system. The materials are useful in trilayer photolithography processes. Films made with the inventive compositions are not soluble in solvents commonly used in lithographic materials, such as, but not limited to PGME, PGMEA, and cyclohexanone. However, the films can be dissolved in developers commonly used in photolithography. In one embodiment, the films can be heated at high temperatures to improve the thermal stability for high temperature processing. Regardless of the embodiment, the material can be applied to a flat/planar or patterned surface. Advantageously, the material exhibits a wiggling resistance during pattern transfer to silicon substrate using fluorocarbon etch.

Composite structures comprising a first component and a second component which is overmolded onto the first component and wherein the surface of the first and optionally of second component comprise a copper based heat stabilizer have excellent inter component bond strength and heat stability. The copper based heat stabilizers provide superior bond strength between components compared to polyhydric alcohol based heat stabilizers.
