    摘要: A heart valve prosthesis including separable ventricular and members is provided. The ventricular member has a first hub that has a connection feature. Each of at least three arms are coupled at a first end to the first hub and have a second end opposite the first end. The arms are preloaded toward a location of heart valve leaflet when the ventricular member is implanted. The atrial member has a second hub coupled to a frame array and has a connection feature configured to couple to the connection feature of the first hub for securing the atrial and ventricular members together. The frame array is preloaded toward a location of the heart valve leaflets when the atrial member is implanted. Concavities are formed at the periphery of the frame array to receive the arms of the ventricular member in an engaged configuration. Valve tissue may be trapped between the arms and the concavities.

    摘要: A Provided herein are methods and compositions for patient selection and therapies targeting TL1A. In particular, provided is a method of treating moderate to severely active Crohn's disease (CD) or ulcerative colitis (UC) in a subject, the method comprising: administering a therapeutically effective amount of an inhibitor of Tumor necrosis factor-like cytokine 1A (TL1A) activity or expression to a subject with moderately to severely active CD or UC that has been determined have a polygenetic risk score (PRS) in the 75th percentile, which is indicative of high fold-change of TL1A expression relative to a cut-off fold-change value. Calculating a PRS comprises providing genomic data comprising one or more genotypes (e.g. rs11221332, rs7134599, rs6062496, rs4246905, rs7468800, rs1569328, rs2284553, rs6062504, and rs7556897) of the subject associated with high TL1A fold-change relative to an index or a control.

    摘要: Methods and devices for cleaning heads of tubular instruments, such as endoscopes, are disclosed. A cleaning apparatus can include a receiving block for receiving an instrument head. A clamp can be used to secure the tube of the tubular instrument while also establishing a watertight seal. A nozzle assembly underneath the receiving block can include a nozzle that directs a stream of fluid onto the instrument head. The nozzle assembly can be rotatable about an axis of rotation, and optionally slidable along the axis of rotation. Extent of rotation and sliding movement can be limited (e.g., via one or more stops). Through movement of the nozzle assembly, the stream of fluid can be directed into various openings and crevices of the instrument head, thus permitting a quick and easy way to thoroughly clean such instrument heads.

    摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for safely and effectively deploying a hemoclip onto a patient's desired target using a hemoclip system. For instance, disclosed is an catheter that includes a lumen for a hemoclip to pass through. Additionally, disclosed are hemoclips that are configured to be in a compressed position until the hemoclip is deployed out of a catheter where it opens. Then, the hemoclip may be clipped onto the target to encapsulate the desired target within the patient. Once the hemoclip is clamped onto the target, the catheter can move onto the next target for successive deployment and utilization of the hemoclips without manual reload.
