Described is an electrode module (1) comprising electrode plates (2) spaced from one another by means of spacing means (3), a plurality of support members (4) each extending through each electrode plate (2) and at least one spacing means (3) between two adjacent electrode plates (2) for releasable securing said electrode plates (2) together, and each electrode plate (2) comprise a plate portion (5). Each electrode plate (2) comprise one supporting and connection lug portion (6) configured to support each electrode plate (2) at a first busbar (7) or a second busbar (8) in an electrochemical reactor (9) for electrically connecting each electrode plate (2) of the electrode module (1) with a first busbar (7) or a second busbar (8) for supplying electrical current between one of the first busbar (7) and the second busbar (8) and each electrode plate (2) of the electrode module (1).

An electrochemical reactor (1) comprising a shell structure (3) and a support structure (2) for supporting the shell structure on a base. The support structure (2) comprises at least one support element (2a) supporting the shell structure (3) from the ledge (7a). A head room portion (7) comprises, within the inner space of the shell structure (3), at least one shelf for receiving and supporting at least one lug portion of at least one electrode plate for suspending the electrode plate. The shelf being located, when in use, preferably directly above the ledge (7a). An apparatus, system, methods, and computer program products related to the electrochemical reactor are also disclosed.

본 발명은 저온 수중 플라즈마 발생 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 플라즈마 발생 장치는 관형의 제1 전극과, 상기 제1 전극의 내부에 배치되고 상기 제1 전극에 유입되는 물에 버블을 형성하는 제2 전극과, 상기 제1 전극과 제2 전극 사이에 형성되는 절연체를 포함하고, 이 장치의 수중 전기장 형성에 의한 저온 수중 플라스마 발생 시킬 전원 인가 장치이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 저온 플라즈마를 발생하여 오염된 물을 살균하며 집약형 관형 저온 플라즈마 발생장치를 구현하는 효과가 있다.

The present invention relates to an electrochemical liquid treatment apparatus and to methods of electrochemically treating a liquid. The apparatus may include: a treatment chamber containing at least one inlet for entry of a liquid to be treated, and including at least one outlet for exit of electrochemically treated liquid; a plurality of electrodes positioned within the treatment chamber for electrochemical treatment of the liquid; and a flow aligner for aligning the flow of the liquid between the electrodes, wherein the flow aligner is positioned intermediate the at least one inlet and the electrodes.

An electrocoagulation treatment apparatus for treating a flow of liquid is provided. The apparatus includes a first set and a second set of electrode plates housed in the reaction chamber, interleaved, and defining liquid flow channels inbetween. The apparatus also includes first and second conductive bars, each having a first end, a second end, and being respectively electrically connected to the first and second sets of electrode plates. The apparatus also includes a first set and a second set of electrical connectors, each one of the electrical connectors of the first and second sets being operatively connected to a respective one of the first and the second ends of the respective first and second conductive bars, and extending outwardly of the housing. The electrical connectors of the first and second sets are connectable to a power supply to provide current to the first and second conductive bars.

A modularized fluid purification device and a method for fluid purification are provided that utilizes electrical power to create a high voltage electrostatic field through which the fluid is passed in combination with filtration to remove or neutralize both organic and inorganic contaminants. The electrostatic field may be focused using an electromagnetic field, and one or more filters downstream of the electrostatic field may be charged to attract correspondingly charged contaminants. The electrical power for creating the electrostatic field and/or charging the filters may be generated via a power generation module of the device or from an external source of power. Fluid, such as water, that is passed through the device and purified may, as a result, be suitable for human consumption, as well as agricultural and industrial applications.

An electrochemical cell for treating a fluid, the electrochemical cell comprising: a plurality of electrodes comprising solid sheets of electrically conductive diamond material; and a support structure for supporting the plurality of electrodes with a fluid flow path defined between the plurality of electrodes, wherein the plurality of electrodes includes at least a first set of electrodes at a first point along the fluid flow path and at least a second set of electrodes at a second point along the fluid flow path, wherein the second point lies downstream from the first point along the fluid flow path, wherein the first and second set of electrodes have separate electrical connections, and wherein the electrical connections for each of the first and second sets of electrodes are configured to periodically switch polarity.
