Abstract:
A packing method is provided, involving a plastic valve bag, which valve bag has a filling valve, and dust retaining venting means adapted to provide venting path for conducting air from an inside to an outside of the valve bag. The dust retaining venting means comprise, for dust retaining, one or both of porous filter means and venting channel, the latter comprising flexible walls adapted to be essentially parallel with each other and adjacent to each other, providing venting path between the flexible walls and essentially parallel with the flexible walls. In a filling process, a quantity of a filling mixture of a granular product and air, containing a predetermined filling mass, of the granular product, is filled into the valve bag through the filling valve. After the filling process the valve bag is put into a position suitable for a stacking thereof, and a quantity of air is conducted out there from through dust retaining venting means. In at least a part of a duration of the filling process the valve bag is vibrated. The filling mixture is filled slowly enough to provide a so-called upper venting place inside the valve bag, which, during the filling process, is either prevented from being reached by a level of, and thereby being filled up with, granular product being in one or both of a solid and a fluidized state, or is reached and filled up with such granular product earliest when the valve bag contains at least 70 percent of the filling mass of the granular product. In at least a part of the duration of the filling process, air is conducted out of the valve bag from the upper venting place.
Abstract:
Associated with a form-fill-seal packaging machine for liquid-packaging cartons is an apparatus (10) including a pusher (24) for driving a pour spout fitment (12) axially from a removal-ready position at an exit end (14) of a feed track (16) that serially guides pour spout fitments (12, 30) edge-wise to the exit end (14) such that external, circumferential flanges (18) of adjacent pour spout fitments (12) and (30) tend to overlap one another. The apparatus (10) also includes a pour spout fitment separator (28) supported adjacent the exit end (14) for reversing an immediately following pour spout fitment (30) back along the track (16) to a position where the flange (18) of the leading fitment (12) in the removal-ready position and the flange (18) of the immediately following pour spout fitment (30) do not overlap.

Abstract:
A kind of packaging marks being capable of rotating and combination, the characters of which are that: the marks are divided into two or more rings lied on surface of a container, the rings can combine each other to form marks. The marks provide a simple structure and its manufacture is easy, while its use is convenient. Consumer can make mark on their own container with personalized manner by rotating and combining the rings, so as to overcome some disadvantage of the prior art, for example, it tends to confuse each other due to the uniform marks on the beverage container. Meantime, various words or designs are printed on each ring, so that the consumer can enjoy the fun by rotating the rings to combine various information.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method for producing sterile solution product bags includes positioning a manifold assembly onto a filling machine. The manifold assembly includes a plurality of bags, a first filter, and a connection line in fluid communication with the first filter. Each of the plurality of bags includes a bladder and a stem in fluid communication with the bladder and with the connection line. The method includes activating a pump and at least partially filling one or more of the bladders by pumping fluid through the feed line, the first filter, and the connection line. The method includes sealing the stem of each of the filled product bags at a location between the connection line and the bladder, thereby creating one or more at least partially filled and sealed product bags. The method includes separating each of the at least partially filled and sealed product bags from the connection line.
Abstract:
A machine (1 ) for automatically filling and sealing valve bags, which comprises a load-bearing frame (2) with bag-filling means (3) mounted thereto, and comprising a nozzle (4) adapted to be introduced into the mouth (M) of each bag (B), transfer means (5) for picking up each bag (B) from a supply (6) of empty bags (B) and transferring it toward the filling means (3) along a second path (T-i), one head (1 5) for sealing the valve (V) of each filled bag (B), support means (1 6) for supporting each bag (B) toward a collection area and a computerized control unit for automatically controlling the filling means (3), the transfer means (5), the sealing head (14) and the support means (1 6). The support means (1 6) are adapted to move between the nozzle (4) and the sealing head (1 5) along a second path (T2), the control unit is programmed to control the movement of the transfer means (5) and the support means (1 6) such that the transfer of each empty bag (B) toward the nozzle (4) and the movement of each filled bag (B) to the sealing head (1 5) may be synchronized while preventing any interference of their respective paths. A method of filling and sealing valve bags (B) using said machine (1 ).

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for folding and sealing a web of material to form an item with a contoured seal such as a valve bag. Folding apparatus form the web of film into a continuous tubular web having upper and lower sections, a closed side and an open side. The open side has two folded flaps that extend into an inside area of the tubular web. A longitudinal sealer includes a floating sealer located inside the tubular web. The floating sealer and its contoured heating element are selectively and intermittently pressed against the overlapping flaps to form a contoured seal that bonds the flaps together. The contoured seal defines a self-sealing valve port through which product is poured to fill the bag. Pairs of repelling magnets biasingly elevate the floating sealer above the overlapping flaps when the longitudinal sealer is in its release position. The sealer "floats" inside the continuous tubular web so that the web can be intermittently drawn past the floating sealer with a minimal amount of drag.
