La présente invention concerne un procédé de transformation de composés hydrocarbonés comprenant au moins une fonction nitrile en composés comprenant au moins une fonction carboxylique et également un procédé d'obtention de composés esters à partir de ces composés carboxyliques ainsi obtenus. L'invention propose un procédé de transformation de composés comprenant au moins une fonction nitrile en des composés comprenant au moins une fonction carboxylique consistant à hydrater les fonctions nitriles en fonction amide par réaction avec l'eau en présence d'un acide fort minéral, puis à hydrolyser les fonctions amides en fonctions carboxyliques par réaction avec l'eau et un acide fort minéral. Les composés carboxyliques ainsi obtenus peuvent être ensuite estérifiés en diesters. Ces derniers peuvent être avantageusement utilisés comme solvant.

Each R 4 is independently a carbon chain of 2 to 4 carbon atoms comprising a terminal carboxylic acid moiety, a carbon chain of 1 to 5 carbon atoms comprising an amine moiety, or (III). R 5 is a carbon chain of 3 or 4 carbon atoms having a terminal carboxylic acid moiety. At least one of R 1 , R 2 and R 3 is (IV). Salts of resveratrol esters are also included.
