摘要: A magnetic recording medium (1) comprising a non-magnetic substrate and a magnetic layer and a protective layer which are formed on the non-magnetic substrate in that order, wherein a substance(s) as a single component or a plurality of components, which constitute a liquid continuously supplied to the surface of said protective layer, are adsorbed on or react with the surface of said protective layer to form a lubricating film (3) having low frictional properties and low wearing-out properties. The present invention can realize negligible friction and wear resistance even in severe sliding at a very slightly kept-off or completely contacted state by continuous supply of a liquid lubricant (3) prepared by adding a fluoro compound and an extreme pressure agent or an oiliness agent to a solvent to the surface of a disc, and can provide a magnetic recording reproducer having excellent sliding-resistant characteristics.

摘要: An ATM switching system comprises a switch unit including a plurality of input ports and a plurality of output ports having the same cell transmission rate, and a multiplexer for multiplexing cell trains outputted from at least two output ports into a single cell train and outputting the cell train to a high-speed output line (and/or a demultiplexer for demultiplexing a cell train from an output port into a plurality of cell trains and outputting the cell trains to a plurality of low-speed output lines). The switch unit includes a buffer memory for temporarily storing cells inputted from the input ports while forming a queue chain for each output line to which each cell is to be outputted, a demultiplexer for distributing the cells read from the buffer memory among the output ports in circulation, and a buffer memory control circuit for controlling the write and read operation of cells with the shared buffer memory. The buffer memory control circuit has a control table device for outputting an identifier of an output line to which the cells read from the shared buffer memory are to be outputted, and cells are read from the chain designated by the output line identifier outputted from the control table device.

摘要: A cooling system for a semiconductor element (2) comprises a heat flow path including a thermally conductive member (3) interposed between a surface of the element (2) and a surface (6a) of a cooling block (6) for conducting heat between them. The member (3) is slidable relative to at least one of the surfaces at a region of sliding contact. To reduce wear, without reducing thermal conductivity, at the region of sliding contact, at least one of the thermally conductive member (3) and the surface contacted thereby carries a fixed thin film (13) comprising fluorine-containing lubricant, of thickness preferably in the range 2 nm to 100 nm. The fluorine-containing lubricant is chemically bonded to the surface carrying it, or alternatively the thin film comprises the fluorine-containing lubricant and a support layer therefor fixed to the surface carrying said thin film, molecules of said lubricant being anchored in the support layer.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide an inkjet head characterized by better ink repellency, greater resistance to abrasion and a longer service life than a prior art product. The above object can be attained when an ink repellent layer (3) comprising a compound made up of a perfluoropolyether chain and alkoxysilane residue is formed on the nozzle plate (1, 11) of the recording head of an ink jet printer for forming an image by jetting out liquid link wherein this nozzle plate has an inkjetting nozzle (2).
