The present invention discloses a method for signal transmission and a user equipment (UE), wherein said method comprises: user equipment UE calculating an MSE of a first layer of signal and an MSE of a second layer of signal; the UE selecting a pre-coding matrix from a plurality of pre-coding matrices according to the sum of the MSE of the first layer of signal and the MSE of the second layer of signal; and the UE informing a base station to use the selected pre-coding matrix to transmit signals. By way of the present invention, the correct transmission of signals is ensured, the block error rate of the system is reduced, and the throughput of the system is improved.

An approach for improved compensation for nonlinear distortion in multicarrier satellite systems is provided. Source reflecting encoded and modulated sequences of source data symbols are received. Each source signal is predistorted, and a transmit filter is applied to each predistorted source signal. Each filtered signal is translated to a carrier frequency, and the translated signals are combined into a composite signal for transmission via a multicarrier transponder. The final predistorted version of each source signal is generated via an iterative process of a number of stages, wherein, for a given stage and for each source signal, the process comprises: receiving a prior predistorted version of each source signal from a preceding stage; processing each prior predistorted source signal based on all of the received prior predistorted source signals, wherein the processing is performed based on a characterization of one or more characteristics of the multicarrier satellite transponder.

The transmitter provided in the embodiments of the present invention includes: a feedback cancellation module, a first digital predistorter DPD and a power amplifier PA, where the feedback cancellation module is located on a feedback channel of the transmitter, and the feedback cancellation module is separately connected to the PA and the first DPD; the feedback cancellation module is configured to perform, according to a feedback cancellation signal, interference cancellation on a signal of the feedback channel, to acquire a first mixed signal, and send the first mixed signal to the first DPD; the first DPD is configured to perform linear predistortion processing according to a first baseband signal on a first transmit channel and the first mixed signal, to generate a first predistortion signal; and the PA is configured to amplify a to-be-transmitted signal and then transmit the signal by using an antenna, where the to-be-transmitted signal is the first predistortion signal or a signal obtained according to the first predistortion signal. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce distortion of a transmit signal.

The present invention relates to a method for encoding a signal of a wireless communication system, the method comprising dividing a current frame of the signal into a plurality of GOBs (Groups of Blocks) each having a certain size, determining whether a current GOB to be encoded of the plurality of GOBs is a first GOB of the current frame, calculating a control parameter value of the current GOB according to whether the current GOB is the first GOB of the current frame, controlling an encoding bit rate of the current GOB according to the control parameter value, and encoding the current GOB. Preferably, a hybrid method wherein an inter-frame GOB update method and an intra-frame GOB update method is used, so that a bit rate change between frames is reduced and data transmission of a channel is efficiently made to therefore provide a user with optimum image quality.
