摘要:
A fin for a water sports board including leading and trailing edges, and a base extending therebetween along a longitudinal base axis. A fin axis extends generally perpendicular to the longitudinal base axis, both axes residing within a longitudinal plane. First and second opposed side faces are formed on generally opposed sides of the longitudinal plane. First and second insert pre-preg sheets formed of structural strands bonded by a resin material are disposed adjacent respective ones of the first and second side faces on generally opposed sides of the longitudinal plane. An injection molded resin material is disposed between the first and second insert pre-preg sheets. A core is positioned between the first and second insert pre-preg sheets and is of a density less than the injection molded resin material.

A strain relief for a coaxial cable and coaxial connector interconnection is provided as an injection moldable polymer material surrounding the interconnection. The injection moldable material fills a solder pre-form cavity between an outer conductor of the coaxial cable and an inner diameter of a bore of the connector body. Where the outer conductor is corrugated, the polymer material may be provided covering an exposed portion of the corrugations and/or filling portions of a corrugation trough between an outer jacket and the outer diameter of the outer conductor.

The handgrip (4) is integrally formed by a functional support (1) incorporating a natural coating (2), and between both elements there is a plastic filler (3) which has been injected through holes (8) of a partition (5) of the functional part (1) and which, when injected under pressure, makes the natural coating (2) conform the shape determined in the cavity (7) of an injection mold (10) in which it is introduced, to then continue with its manufacture. All this is done by making use of a manufacturing process having the fundamental steps of assembling the functional support (1) and the natural coating (2) leading to a bimaterial insert (9) which is positioned in the injection mold (10), and subsequently injecting the plastic filler (3), leading to the handgrip (4) with the shape determined by the cavity (7) of the injection mold (10).

摘要:
An abrasive article comprising a plurality of flaps (2) of abrasive material, each flap having a first edge (4) and an opposing second edge (3), the second edges defining an abrasive working surface, wherein at least some of the flaps are at least partially-joined to an adjacent flap at a fold in the material. A method of making the abrasive article comprises Z-folding a piece of abrasive material to define a plurality of flaps, each flap having a first edge (4) and an opposing second edge (3), arranging said folded piece(s) of material so that the second edges (3) define an abrasive working surface, and securing the flaps in that Fig. 1.
