A method of digitally printing a solder mask. The method includes providing a solder mask ink composition including: 1) a resin and 2) a solvent in an amount of at least 20 % by weight relative to the total weight of the solder mask ink composition. The composition has a viscosity that is less than 1000 cps at a shear rate of 10 s -1 and a temperature of 25° C. An aerosol stream is generated from the solder mask ink composition with a pneumatic atomizer using an atomization gas. The aerosol stream is directed through a nozzle and focused using a sheath gas onto a substrate while changing the position of the nozzle with respect to the substrate to selectively deposit a solder mask pattern. The solder mask pattern is cured.

A transfer film for firing which has a multilayer structure including a functional pattern and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The multilayer structure is free from a shape failure of the functional pattern and a decrease in adhesive force of the adhesive layer, and has the excellent transferability to a substrate. The transfer film gives a fired functional pattern free from defects such as a shape or function failure. The transfer film for firing is one for use in forming a fired functional pattern by transferring a multilayer structure including a functional pattern to a surface of a substrate and firing it. The transfer film comprises a release film and a multilayer structure formed so as to be in contact with one of the surfaces of the release film. The multilayer structure includes a functional pattern and a contact layer which has been formed so as to be in direct contact with the surface of the functional pattern and is constituted of one layer or a larger number of layers. The functional pattern comprises inorganic particles and an organic substance removable by firing. The contact layer comprises an organic substance and a solvent both removable by firing. The organic substance contained in the functional pattern is incompatible with the solvent contained in the contact layer.

The material dispenser has a chamber (110) to contain the viscous material to be printed on the substrate. The chamber (110) has an opening through which the viscous material is dispensed. The material dispenser is coupled to the frame (12), positioned over the device, and constructed and arranged to dispense the viscous material through the perforations in the device and onto the substrate. The material dispenser has a retraction device that prevents leakage of the viscous material from the opening after dispensing is complete.

Um eine Vorrichtung anzugeben, die konstruktiv einfach ist, und ein Säuberungsverfahren hinsichtlich des Trocknungsvorganges zu verbessern, soll bei der Vorrichtung (1) zumindest ein Arm (6) um eine senkrecht zu der zu säubernden Oberfläche ausgerichtete Achse (7) drehbar gelagert sein und dieselben Austrittsöffnungen (8) des Arms (6) zur Durchführung der Säuberungsstufen Reinigen, Spülen und insbesondere auch der Säuberungsstufe Trocknen, insbesondere mittels Warmluft, ausgebildet sein und bei dem Verfahren zur Zuführung der in der Säuberungsstufe Trocknen verwendeten Luft, insbesondere Warmluft, ein Luftverdichter eingesetzt werden.
