Applying this lubricant on the surface of the mandrel bar at the time of mandrel mill rolling enables a lubricating film to be formed on the surface of the bar and to exert excellent seizure resistance, and also allows the lubricant to be immune from remaining in the inner surface of tube.

The compound for creating a newly formed layer on metal friction surfaces relates to machine building. When repairing and maintaining diverse machines and mechanisms, the compound enables to create a newly formed layer on metal friction surfaces. This layer has both the effect of self-recovery during operation and high tribotechnical characteristics, improved wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The specific feature is the use of natural nickel-iron- magnesium hydrisalacates that in this case act as the base and catalyst, e.g., forsterite Mg 2 9SIO 4 ) or fayalite Fe 2 (SiO 4 ) or one similar thereto, which favors the creation of a newly formed layer on metal friction surfaces and initiates therein the process of mass exchange self-oscillations.

An aqueous cutting liquid comprises a cationic water-soluble resin having an amine value of 20 to 200 mgKOH/g, and at least one members of a rheology control agent selected from the group consisting of an inorganic bentonite, an organic bentonite and an aqueous silica sol, wherein the content of a nonvolatile matter of the rheology control agent is 0.1 to 30 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the cationic water-soluble resin. An aqueous cutting agent comprises the aqueous cutting, and an abrasive grain, wherein the content of the abrasive grain is 100 to 1000 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the aqueous cutting liquid. A hard and brittle material is cut by a cutting device using the aqueous cutting agent. The present invention provides an aqueous cutting agent which is excellent in dispersion stability of the abrasive grain and viscosity stability during cutting/cutting operations, aqueous cutting liquid usable for the aqueous cutting agent, and a cutting/cutting method excellent in cutting performance, cleanability and the like of the work material on cutting/cutting hard and brittle material by using the cutting agent.

The invention relates to an oil type lubricant, which is applied to a die to be used in high-pressure die casting, gravity die casting, low-pressure die casting and forging and can prevent soldering, particularly at high temperature parts and under a heavy load, to a spray method of applying the oil type lubricant and a spray apparatus for applying the oil type lubricant. The powder-containing oil type lubricant for die contains 60 to 99% by mass of an oil type lubricant consisting of oil, 0.3 to 30% by mass of a solubilizing agent, 0.3 to 15% by mass of an inorganic powder and 7.5% by mass or less of water, the lubricant being electrostatically applied to a die. The electrostatic spray method includes applying the powder-containing oil type lubricant to a die by electrostatic spraying. The electrostatic spray apparatus includes a static electricity imparting device that imparts static electricity to the powder-containing oil type lubricant and an electrostatic spray gun installed on a multi-axle robot.
