To charge, the machines employ electrical current from an external source. As demand at individual collection, charging and distribution machines increases or decreases relative to other collection, charging and distribution machines, a distribution management system initiates redistribution of portable electrical energy storage devices from one collection, charging and distribution machine to another collection, charging and distribution machine in an expeditious manner. Also, redeemable incentives are offered to users to return or exchange their portable electrical energy storage devices at selected collection, charging and distribution machines within the network to effect the redistribution.

A vehicle has a vehicle door system, and the vehicle door system includes a vehicle door, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The controller is configured to control, according to a current working mode of the vehicle door system, the actuating mechanism to control the state of the vehicle door. The working mode includes at least: an electric mode, where in the electric mode, the controller is configured to control the actuating mechanism to drive the vehicle door to open or close; a suspended mode, where in the suspended mode, the controller is configured to control the actuating mechanism to keep the vehicle door suspended; and a manual mode, where in the manual mode, the controller is configured to control, according to an external force acting on the vehicle door, the actuating mechanism to drive the vehicle door to move.

Disclosed are a vehicle and a controlling method and device therefor. The controlling method includes: acquiring a first distance between a door of the vehicle and an obstacle in an environment where the door is located; determining a target controlling mode of the door according to a first target distance interval to which the first distance belongs, wherein controlling modes of the door include a fully automatic mode, a semi-automatic mode and an assistive mode; and controlling the door according to the target controlling mode. By using the method, in the controlling of the door, different controlling modes are adopted according to the distance between the door and an obstacle, and the door is controlled according to the corresponding controlling mode, whereby the door can be opened or closed safely, and the door can be controlled to be opened or closed in different manners, which improves the comfort.
