Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong determination of a misfire or the like according to the ion current detection result by limiting the combustion state determination of an internal combustion engine based on an ion current according to the current flowing through a motor and a motor control device of a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: An electric control unit(ECU) 40 reads a voltage value of an ignition plug 16 part generated by an ion current, and compares the read value with a designated value to conduct the required control operation when a misfire is determined. In the ion current detecting device of a hybrid vehicle, when a large current flows through a motor, noise is generated to have a bad influence to the ion current to cause wrong determination of a misfire. When a misfire determination limiting routine is executed, the noise present is determined when the detection values Im of currents of motors MG1, MG2 are larger than a designated amount, when the change rate (dIm/dt) of the detected current value is larger than a designated value, or when a regenerative control current Irm flows. Thus, it is possibe to prevent wrong determination of the engine combustion state according to the detection of an ion current influenced by noise.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control charging of an energy storage device so that an opportunity for deterioration diagnosis of the energy storage device is properly secured in a hybrid vehicle on which the externally chargeable energy storage device is mounted.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 5 includes a motor generator MG2 for generating vehicle drive force, an energy storage device 10 for inputting and outputting electric power from/to the motor generator MG2, and an engine 18, which are mounted on the hybrid vehicle. An external charging part 30 is configured to charge the energy storage device 10 by electric power from a power supply outside the vehicle. A control device 100 executes deterioration diagnosis of the energy storage device 10 including the calculation of a full charge capacity when a charge amount during the external charging is larger than a predetermined amount. Further, when the deterioration diagnosis is not executed for a constant period, the control device 100 executes the control for inhibiting the charging to the energy storage device 10 until when the deterioration diagnosis is performed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy efficiency of a whole vehicle by operating an internal combustion engine equipped with a power output device according to a state of a mounted power output device. SOLUTION: In a hybrid automobile for performing the torque conversion of a power from an engine by two motors connected to a planet gear mechanism and the rotary element of the planet gear mechanism, and for outputting a driving shaft connected to a driven wheel, a plurality of different operation lines LP and L0 to L3 obtained by imposing different conditions on a power to be output from an engine as constraints are stored, and an operation line is set according to a speed or the state of a motor, and an engine is operated and the driving of the two motors is controlled. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress emission of NOx and improve fuel economy. SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 10 is provided with a catalytic converter 30 filled with catalyst 31 capable of purifying exhaust gas discharged from an engine 20 and accumulating oxygen. An engine ECU 50 stops fuel injection to the engine 20 when a predetermined fuel cut condition is established and injects fuel of quantity making air fuel ratio of air fuel mixture rich into the engine 20 after cutting fuel and before resting the engine 20 to reduce oxygen accumulated on the catalyst 31 when fuel cut time t is threshold value tj or more and a predetermined engine rest condition is established. The threshold value tj is defined in a range where total oxygen quantity accumulated in the catalyst 31 does not exceed the maximum oxygen quantity that the catalyst can accumulate. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the HC removing operation of an exhaust device of an engine for vehicle which is equipped with a layer of HC adsorbing material and a layer of exhaust gas purifying catalyst having an oxygen holding ability, whereby the HC in the exhaust gas is adsorbed to an HC adsorbant layer by passing the exhaust gas through the HC adsorbant layer when the engine is starting in cold condition, the adsorbed HC is separated from the HC adsorbant layer by passing the exhaust gas through the HC adsorbant layer after the engine is warmed up, and the separated HC is turned into H2O and CO2 by oxygen held in the catalyst layer to be exhausted. SOLUTION: The exhaust device of an engine for vehicle is equipped with a first means to judge the oxygen holding condition of the exhaust gas purifying catalyst layer and a second means to suppress the feed of exhaust gas for HC separation to the HC adsorbant layer when the judgement by the first means is such that the oxygen holding condition of the catalyst layer has not attained the specified degree.

SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle, which outputs power from the engine to a driveshaft connected to driving wheels through torque conversion by a planetary gear mechanism and two motors connected to rotary elements of the planetary gear mechanism, stores a plurality of different operation lines LP and L0 to L3 constraining the power output from the engine by different conditions, and sets one operation line according to vehicle speed, motor status and the like in operating the engine and controlling the drive of the two motors. The detector includes: the internal combustion engine 1; the generator driven by the internal combustion engine to generate power; torque detection means 9, 12, 23 for detecting the reaction torque of the generator 3; and output state detection means for detecting the output state of the internal combustion engine 1. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate learning of atmospheric pressure without using an atmospheric pressure sensor, in regard to an atmospheric pressure learning device mounted on an automobile having an evaporation fuel treatment system for combustion treatment in an internal combustion engine and an abnormality diagnostic device. SOLUTION: A selector valve 152 for making a canister 46 communicated/shielded with/from the atmosphere is provided on an atmospheric pressure side passage 144c connected to the canister 146. A pressure sensor 154 is mounted inside the passage in the canister 146 side from the selector valve 152, and a pump 156 is arranged so as to introduce negative pressure into inside of the passage. Abnormalities such as fuel leakage are detected, based on a pressure value from the pressure sensor 154 when the pump 156 is driven by closing a solenoid valve 142 for sealing and a solenoid valve 148 for purging and by switching the selector valve 152 to a state where the passage in the canister 146 side is shielded from the atmosphere. When the selector valve 152 is switched to a state where the passage in the canister 146 side communicates with the atmosphere, learning of the atmospheric pressure is performed by using the pressure value from the pressure sensor 154. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase/decrease the power outputted from an engine more quickly when a sports drive mode is set by a driver. SOLUTION: When a sports drive mode is set, a lower limit engine rotational speed Nemin which is the lower limit of rotational speed of an engine is acquired according to a vehicle speed using a lower limit engine rotational speed map (step S160), and an engine rotational speed command Ne* is set so that the rotational speed of the engine is higher than the lower limit engine rotational speed Nemin (steps S170, S180). Thus, the engine is operated at the lower limit engine rotational speed Nemin or higher, to widen the torque width which an engine can decrease or increase, for quick increase/decrease of a torque.
