PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge supporter for vehicles which can inform a user of information about charge in an ideal position in consideration of an obstacle before completion of parking operation, a method of supporting charge for vehicles and a computer program.SOLUTION: When a user starts to park a car in a parking frame 75 where a feed unit 70 is embedded, the charge supporter conducts detection of the position and form of the obstacle 80 in or around the parking frame 75 (S1), detection of the position and form of the parking frame 75 (S2), and detection of the position of the feed unit 70 within the parking frame 75 (S3). Based on the position of the feed unit 70, it specifies a parking position in which the charge efficiency of a battery 60 is highest as its optimum position (S4), and determines the interval between its own vehicle 65 and the obstacle 80 in the optimum position (S5). According to the determination results, it specifies its ideal position and informs the user of the charge efficiency and best position of a battery 60 in the ideal position (S10).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device capable of identifying a user of the charging device without using an IC card. SOLUTION: The charging device 1 includes a camera 2 to read the number (license number) of a vehicle 2 which has parked. The read license number is analyzed by image processing to determine whether the license number belongs to a user who is previously registered in a storage device. Only when the number belongs to the registered user, permission for utilizing the charging device 1 is given. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily make the driver of a mobile object (vehicle) directly face a power-receiving portion of the side of the vehicle to a power-feeding portion of the side of a road, when the driver moves the vehicle, in a system such that power feeding to the vehicle is performed in a non-contact manner. SOLUTION: In the system, a power-receiving portion 21 for receiving the power feeding of a vehicle 2 from a power-feeding portion 31 embedded in the road surface of a parking space 3 by an electromagnetic induction, is provided in the bottom surface a vehicle. Also, it is required that for efficiently performing the power feeding from the power-feeding portion 31 to the power-receiving portion 21, these respective portions directly face each other; and when doing so, a position-determining marker 18 is disposed in the rear portion of the parking space 3; and when the driver of the vehicle 2 parks the vehicle 2 in the parking space 3, the position-determining marker 18 is photographed by a camera 17, and the vehicle is induced to an optimal position, by indicating the photographed picture in an indicating portion 8 on the side of the vehicle 2. Furthermore, when a reference-position signal is transmitted from a signal transmitting portion 37b and the reference-position signal can be received in a signal-receiving portion 28b, power feeding to the vehicle is initiated by transmitting a charge desiring signal from the side of the vehicle 2.
