PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently direct users to available on-street parking spots to reduce congestion on streets and to improve experience of drivers wishing to park.SOLUTION: Availability of a plurality of parking spaces 12 is determined. A street location of a dynamic parking sign comprising identifiers is determined. A direction of each of the available parking spaces viewed from the street location is determined, and the available parking spaces are grouped by the directions. Parking factors are applied to the grouped available parking spaces, and at least one of the groups of parking spaces that satisfy the parking factors is selected. The direction of the selected groups of parking spaces is displayed on a dynamic street sign.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer-implemented system and method for offering merchant- and shopper-friendly parking reservations through validated parking.SOLUTION: Motor vehicle parking spaces are managed through a server 11. Occupancy of one of the parking spaces by a motor vehicle is sensed through nearest vehicle occupancy sensors 14a to 14c, and the location of the parking space is provided to the server 11. An identity of the driver of the motor vehicle is determined through nearest parking devices 13a and 13b having information processing ability, and the identity of the driver is provided to the server. Use of the parking space is validated. The parking space's location and the driver's identity are retrieved at the location of a merchant. Payment for at least part of the use of the parking space from the merchant is provided through the server.

주차면들의 이미지를 외부로 전송함이 없이 카메라 장치 자체에서 처리하여 주차유도를 수행하는 다이렉트 주차유도 카메라 장치가 개시된다. 다이렉트 주차유도 카메라 장치는, 주차장에 구획된 주차면들의 이미지를 전방위 카메라 렌즈를 통해 받아 촬상하는 이미지 센서; 상기 이미지 센서를 통해 촬상된 상기 주차면들의 이미지를 캡쳐링 후 외부로 전송함이 없이 자체적으로 처리하여, 상기 주차면들 상의 주차 상태를 나타내는 만공차 표시 제어신호를 다이렉트로 생성하는 주차유도 시스템 온 칩; 및 상기 만공차 표시 제어신호에 응답하여 설정된 색의 빛을 발생하는 만공차 표시부를 포함하되, 상기 이미지 센서, 상기 주차유도 시스템 온 칩, 및 상기 주차면 만공차 표시부는 일체로 제작되어 상기 주차장 내에서 상기 주차면들의 이미지를 촬상할 수 있는 위치에 설치되도록 구성된다.
