摘要: A current charged into or discharged from a phase-compensating capacitor C1 in an output circuit is controlled by a level shift circuit so that the current is kept constant for input signals inputted to the input terminals IN+ and IN- of a differential amplifier circuit, and also a current charged into or discharged from a phase-compensating capacitor C2 is controlled by the current correcting circuit so that the current become equal to a constant current controlled by the level shift circuit, namely to a current charged into or discharged from the phase-compensating capacitor C1. Therefore, even if a quickly rising or falling signal is inputted into the differential amplifier circuit, the MOS transistor MP11 or MN11 is not set in an offset state, which prevents generation of an overshoot or an undershot in the output terminal.

摘要: The kinds of effects imparted to signals received from a keyboard or a microphone are stored beforehand in a first and a second effector. An effect (1) input selector and an effect (2) input selector set forms in which signals are fed to the respective effectors. A direct tone control switch, and effect (1) and (2) L/R switches set a form in which the signal with an imparted effect is output. The input forms of those signals, the kinds of effects and the output form of the signals with an imparted effect are displayed on a list display. The user operates a ten-key unit to select a desired input and output forms of the signals and the kinds of effects to be imparted to the signal while viewing the list display.

摘要: A comparator circuit including a reference-voltage generating unit for generating a variable reference voltage, and a comparator having a first input terminal to which an input signal is supplied and a second input terminal to which the variable reference voltage from the reference-voltage generating unit is supplied. The comparator circuit also includes additional-voltage generating unit for generating an additional voltage that varies in proportion to the variable reference voltage, and a switching unit that is connected to the additional-voltage generating unit and activated or deactivated in response to an output of the comparator. When the switching unit is deactivated, the input signal is supplied to the first input terminal of the comparator and the variable reference voltage from the reference-voltage generating unit is supplied to the second input terminal of the comparator. When the switching unit is activated, the additional voltage from the additional-voltage generating unit is added to the input signal, and the sum of the input signal and the additional voltage is supplied to the first input terminal of the comparator so that an interpretation processing of the comparator is performed with a variable hysteresis characteristic corresponding to the additional voltage that varies in proportion to the variable reference voltage.

摘要: A signal converter includes a frequency-to-voltage converter for converting a frequency of an input signal received via an input terminal into a control voltage. The input signal contains a noise signal having a frequency different from the frequency of the input signal. The control voltage changes in accordance with a change of the frequency of the input signal. A filter has a variable cutoff frequency so that the noise signal is eliminated from the input signal and outputs a filtered signal. The variable cutoff frequency is changed in accordance with a change of the control voltage so that a change of the variable cutoff frequency follows a change of the frequency of the input signal. A comparator compares the filtered signal with a reference voltage and converts the filtered signal into a pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to the frequency of the input signal.

摘要: A plurality of images each indicative of a file to be processed or its items to be processed is displayed on a display. When message information is displayed which is to be transmitted to the user with respect to each of the images, a surrounding image which surrounds the message information is displayed to emphasize and display the message information. When a face image is displayed on the display screen, the message information is displayed in the form of a balloon used frequently in a cartoon or animation as if the message information were uttered from the face image. The displayed shape of the balloon is changed in accordance with attributes of the face image displayed on the display screen so as to harmonize with the face image.

摘要: A melody segmentation module segments a given melody into a plurality of phrases. A phrase tonality analyzer determines a key of each phrase to provide a correct succession of keys of the melody. With this arrangement, the music apparatus can detect, from the melody, a modulation (change of key). A chord progression database is searched to assign an appropriate chord pattern to each phrase. Thus, the melody is harmonized with a natural and real chord progression. A style analyzer tests a melody phrase for a preselected music style and labels it with style-matched if it meets the preselected music style. A chord pattern characteristic of the preselected music style is selected from a chord progression database of the same music style to harmonize the style-matched phrase. Thus, the melody agrees with the harmonizing chord progression in terms of music style.
