Abstract: An electrical cable includes a conductor assembly having a first conductor, a second conductor and an insulator surrounding the first conductor and the second conductor. The insulator has an outer surface having an RMS roughness of less than 1.0 micrometers. A cable shield provides electrical shielding for the first and second conductors and has a metallized conductive layer on the outer surface of the insulator. A method of manufacturing an electrical cable includes feeding a first conductor and a second conductor to a core extruder, extruding an insulator around the first and second conductors at the core extruder, heating an outer surface of the insulator to lower a roughness profile of the outer surface, and directly apply a conductive layer to the outer surface of the insulator.

Abstract: A power connector includes a housing having a terminal channel and a terminal received in the terminal channel including a mating pin at a front of the terminal and a cable connector at a rear of the terminal. The mating pin is positioned in the terminal channel for mating with a charging connector. The cable connector includes a pad configured to be terminated to a power cable. The power connector includes a heat exchanger thermally coupled to the pad of the terminal. The heat exchanger includes a coolant channel for coolant flow through the heat exchanger for actively cooling the terminal. The heat exchanger includes a thermally conductive separator electrically isolating the heat exchanger from the pad of the terminal.

Abstract: A metal foil flaring apparatus includes a frame, a flaring mechanism mounted on the frame and having a flaring mouth adapted to open and close, and a first driver mounted on the frame and adapted to drive the flaring mouth to open and close. Abstract: The present application discloses an electric connection assembly having a support and a connector, wherein the support comprises a support body; the support body is provided with a mounting groove; the connector is configured to be in contact electrical connection with a mating connector; the connector comprises a mounting part; part or all of the mounting part is detachably received within the mounting groove; the support and the connector are formed separately and connected to each other. Compared with the prior art, the electric connection assembly of the present disclosure implements the function of supporting, holding and assembling integrally the corresponding connectors by means of the support provided with a mounting groove. Correspondingly, the entire structure of the electric connection assembly is simplified and convenient to be assembled.

Abstract: A cable tension control device includes a pair of first active rollers clamping a cable therebetween, a first driver driving the first active rollers, a pair of second active rollers clamping the cable therebetween at an upstream position from the first active rollers, a second driver driving the second active rollers, a floating roller arranged between the first active rollers and the second active rollers and exerting a pushing force on the cable, and an actuator driving the floating roller to move vertically to adjust the pushing force exerted on the cable. A tension force applied on the cable is controlled to be equal to a predetermined tension force by controlling the pushing force and by controlling a speed difference between a first speed at which the first active rollers convey the cable forward and a second speed at which the second active rollers convey the cable forward.

Abstract: Electromechanical relay constructions comprise an external housing, a pair of switchable electrical contacts disposed within the housing, an element for activating the pair of electrical contacts, and a temperature sensing element disposed within the housing adjacent the electrical contracts. The temperature sensing element provides a signal for determining the temperature within the relay housing. The relay may comprise two or more temperature sensing elements disposed within the housing a desired distance from one another. The temperature sensing element may be attached to a member or substrate disposed within the housing, may be attached to an existing internal structure of the housing, or may be attached to one of the contacts. The temperature sensing element may be selected from the group consisting of resistance temperature detectors, negative temperature coefficient thermistors, thermopile sensors, thermocouples, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: A supply charging device includes a supply power connector having a housing with a mating end and a flange configured to be mounted to a panel. The housing includes power contact channels extending through a base receiving power contacts. The housing includes a guide member engaging a guide feature of a mobile device to locate a receiver power connector relative to the supply power connector. The supply charging device includes a retaining plate securing the housing to the panel. The supply charging device includes a mounting spring extending from the housing and received in the panel cutout. The mounting spring engages the panel to allow the supply power connector to float relative to the panel within the panel cutout for aligning the mating end of the supply power connector with the receiver power connector.

Abstract: Pass through plates comprise a body with an opening between opposed first and second surfaces for accommodating the passage of electrical elements. One or more upper retaining elements project outwardly from the body and are positioned adjacent a body top portion. One or more lower retaining elements project from the body and are positioned adjacent a body bottom portion. The upper and lower retaining elements are each configured to both engage respective top and bottom sections of an opening in an external object, and to engage a backside surface of the external object when installed within the opening to retain the pass through plate for attachment with the external object. The upper and lower retaining elements are positioned to enable movement of the pass through plate from an upward position in the opening to a downward position in the opening for fixed attachment with the external object.
