    摘要: Control systems and methods are provided which enhance acquisition range, transient response and offset pointing accuracy in beacon-assisted orientation of a spacecraft to a desired spacecraft attitude Adsrd. The methods receive a beacon signal with antennas that are arranged in a fixed angular relationship to thereby form an attitude error signal Serr whose magnitude is a measure of the attitude difference between a current spacecraft attitude Acrnt and the desired spacecraft attitude Adsrd. A sum power P&Sgr; that is the sum of the signal powers from the antennas is sensed and a signal modifier Smod is generated that increases with decreases in the sum power P&Sgr;. The attitude error signal Serr is then modified with a term (1+Smod) to form an enhanced attitude error signal Serrenhd. In one embodiment, the signal modifier Smod is n|Pmax−P&Sgr;|m wherein n and m are positive numbers and Pmax is the sum power P&Sgr; when the attitude error is zero.

    摘要: The present invention is predicated on the discovery that quinoline and substituted quinoline derivatives, having substituents in positions other than the 2 and 6 position, undergo polymerization in the presence of tetrahydroquinoline or substituted tetrahydroquinolines and a transition metal sulfide catalyst to produce polymers that have repeating quinoline and substituted moieties.Thus, in one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a novel method of preparing polymers having the formula ##STR1## which comprises contacting a tetrahydroquinoline having the formula ##STR2## with a quinoline compound having the formula ##STR3## at elevated temperatures and in the presence of a transition metal sulfide catalyst wherein the metal is selected from Groups VIB, VIIB of the periodic table and mixtures thereof and wherein the Rs (i.e. R.sub.3, R.sub.4, etc.) and the R's (i.e. R'.sub.3, R'.sub.4, etc.) may be the same or different and are selected from hydrogen, halogen (especially fluoro-, chloro- and bromo-), --NO.sub.2, OH, --NH.sub.2, --SH, --CN and organic substituents. In the above polymer, x and y represent the relative proportion of bracketed structural quinoline or substituted moieties, and n is an integer equal to or greater than 2.

    摘要: A cake mix for making a low sodium cake, which has good volume, fine texture, good flavor, pleasant mouth feel and uniform color. A nonshortening portion and a shortening portion are combined with a baking powder portion that has balanced amounts of potassium carbonate and monocalcium phosphate to produce a final cake batter. The final cake batter is baked to produce a cake having a final pH of about 6.8 to 7.5 and having a sodium content of less than 35 mgs per serving.
